Supportive teachers, decent infrastructure, and better placement opportunities.

Placements: Around 70% of ISE students at RVITM got placed in 2025. The highest package was 26-29 LPA, the lowest about 4.5 LPA, and the average around 10-11 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Wipro, Tata Motors, PayPal, Cisco, Flipkart, Walmart, and Oracle. About 70-80% of students secured internships at major firms like Cisco and Flipkart, with a stipend of up to 30K per month. Common roles offered were Software Engineer, Analyst, Graduate Engineer Trainee, Supply Chain Engineer, Trainee Analyst, and Data Scientist.

Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi, working labs, well-ventilated classrooms with recorded lessons, and the library has a wide variety of academic books. Since I'm not from a hostel. I wouldn't say too much about it. It is very good regarding facilities, but okay in the food available in the mess and canteen. Nice sports, games and also have NSS and NCC.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant but still lacks in making the students industry-ready. Difficult level is normal in the semester exams at this college. The pass percentage is 98 per cent.

Review about RVITM College, Bengaluru.

Placements: 60% of students get average placements. The top recruiting company is JP Morgan. An average number of students get placed successfully. Philips, PhonePe, Oracle, and Cisco also visit our campus. Other courses offered are Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not really good. It is only a one-building college with not enough lifts and limited facilities. The hostel is not worth the money you pay, we even moved out after one year. The fee increase every two years. The food is not that great, and there is a lot of favoritism towards South Indian students.

Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, while some are just okayish. But, they are knowledgeable and willing to help if you have any queries. The semester exams are not very difficult, and the course is relevant to the branch. The teaching quality is good, but there is favoritism and bias from some teachers towards South Indian students.

Other: I get this course in this college, which is the best option compared to any other college. I hope the infrastructure and campus life become more fun. Also, the hostel is not on campus, it's located outside. The campus is very small. Events and fests are a waste of time here and are poorly handled.

Best college and great value for money.

Placements: The placements at RVITM and RVCE are scheduled to coordinate at the same time, and there are common placements for both colleges. In 2023, there is a 95% placement rate with 45 LPA as the highest package, and from the present batch, there is no Mechanical. The placement opportunities are very good if you work hard, and you have to work and prepare as an RVCE student if you want to get placed with the highest package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus life are decent, and you can enjoy it. The hostel is off-campus, about 1.5 km from the college, and there is a bus for travel, but the food and all are not that good at the hostel. There are PGs near the college, and the students are adjusted.

Faculty: Faculty are very good and friendly, and the college is affiliated with VTU, so the curriculum and exams are conducted as per the schedule given by VTU. The teaching is very good, and you can pass all the exams easily if you attend the classes correctly. Attendance is mandatory to maintain 85%.

Other: The campus life is decent and no crowd because there are only 300 admissions per year. The best thing about the college is the common placements with RVCE. There are many fests held in the college where you can enjoy a lot.

The college has excellent infrastructure and nice placements.

Placements: Around 80 to 90 percent of RVITM students get placed with packages ranging from 4 LPA to 25 LPA. The average is 11 to 12 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 to 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Oracle, Wipro, and IBM. Major roles are software developer, SDE, and system engineer.

Infrastructure: RVITM offers a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, smart classrooms, advanced labs, and a good library. Hostels are clean with good Wi-Fi and decent food. Medical aid is not available. Sports and cultural facilities ensure student comfort, health, and all-round development.

Faculty: Teachers at RVITM are helpful, experienced, and supportive. The curriculum is updated and industry-oriented with practical exposure. Semester exams are difficult, papers are prepared by VTU. The pass percentage is around 50% to 80%, reflecting effective teaching skills.

Other: I chose this course for the name tag RV. They provide hands-on labs, somewhat supportive faculty members, and exposure to real-world projects. More internships and workshops should be conducted. Very few events and fests are held, and there is no campus in this college.

I am very happy that I have chosen this college.

Placements: Around 70–85 percent of students get placed, with packages ranging from 9 to 36 LPA. Some Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies visit for placements. About 85% of students get internship offers from top companies. Roles offered include software engineer, web developer, and data analyst, among others, with 65 percent of students placed as software engineers.

Infrastructure: Everything is good. Labs are good, but the college does not have much space. There is only one building with seven floors. MCA is also offered and is good. I do not know about the hostel as I stay in a government hostel, which is free of cost.

Faculty: They try to teach, and it is somewhat understandable, but not completely aligned with the VTU syllabus. Some unnecessary subjects are included. The question papers are very difficult, making it hard to clear all subjects, and only about 5% of students pass easily.

Other: I like the course and I am passionate about it. I have improved myself and gained some skills. Many events are held, and they are enjoyable.
