A college with opportunities.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent in the college. Last year, almost 81% of students got placed. The average package for tech branches is around 4.5 LPA, and the highest package was offered by Amazon for 45 LPA. Many companies visit the college like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc. Students can apply for placements at the end of the third year. Many companies had a CGPA of 7.5-8 in the last semester. I plan to get a good campus placement after my graduation in Pune or Mumbai.

Infrastructure: The campus life is pretty good at the college. The students can do whatever they like on campus. The infrastructure is also good. Parking is a bit of an issue, as you sometimes have to park the vehicle far from the college building. There are many clubs in the college like culture, motorsports, communication, astronomy, entrepreneurship, etc. The college has a cultural festival and a teaching festival. The cultural festival is called Nakshatra. The event is pretty grand, and it goes on for almost 3–4 days in February. The festival also holds sports activities. The teach fest is called techno-fiesta and is held after the cultural festival in March itself. The college doesn't have a hostel, but there are many good hostels around the area, as the area has 2-3 colleges around it.

Faculty: The college faculty are good in their respective fields. Most have a master's degree or are Ph.D. holders and have 5–20 years of teaching experience. The faculty ratio is pretty decent; it is almost 1-2 faculty for 2 classes. Few teachers use pretty innovative techniques to teach and make the students understand, but few of them fail to do so and end up being a bit boring. As the Aids course is new in college and university as well, the course curriculum is pretty updated. There are 5 exams each semester, with 2 vivas, 1 in-semester, 1 end-semester, 1 preliminary, and 2 unit tests. There is compulsory attendance of 75% in college, which is to be maintained to get the hall ticket.

Other: My college is close to my house; this also had a lot of influence on my choice of college. AIDS is now on the rise, and I believe people who can run or make AI can only survive in the upcoming generation. This course also has a huge scope and career opportunities. The teachers are not that good. The college faculty need to work on their teaching skills. The 75% attendance is a bit of an issue, as you have to maintain it to get the hall ticket for the exam. If you have good relations with teachers, they sometimes help you by increasing attendance, but this is not the case with all of them. If you fail to maintain 75% attendance, then you have to do the makeup classes after college hours to complete your attendance, which becomes a headache.

DY Patil is an average college.

Placements: Being a fresher in this college, many of the top placements took place offcampus. There are some companies that visit here but do not offer very high packages. Technical as well as non-technical companies visit here. If you are looking for high packages, I will have to say that you will have to be your own.

Infrastructure: The reality is that there are no hostels here provided by the college but there are plenty of PGs and private hostels available in these area. What the college claims is that we have a hostel but the truth is that it is only for girls and costs about 1.5–1.75 lacs a year.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified; not all teachers are good, but if they are passionate about something, they will definitely help you with that. Talking about whether it will make students industry-ready, no, they don't because you only study a day before your exam.

The actual hub for engineering .

Placements: Nearly 80 percent of students were placed on our campus with the highest package of INR 45 LPA and the lowest of INR 8 LPA, with an average of INR 11 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Amazon were the top recruiting companies, and every student received an internship with Data Tech.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch, and every possible requirement is provided to the students of my course. Everywhere on campus there is access to high-speed Wi-Fi, and the campus includes at least 5 to 6 labs for each course, and the hostel is really close and affordable.

Faculty: Faculty members are all experienced and really good at what they teach; most of the teachers have doctorates in their subjects and have also published their own books for students. The course curriculum is really relevant, and with ongoing internships, it makes students ready for actual industry.

Other: I chose this course because there is a demand for it and because it is the future of our world. The best thing about my course is its computer knowledge. Everything in the course has been interesting and enjoyable so far. The college regularly holds events like coding competitions. Fests are also enjoyable, and extracurricular activities are also supported.

It is an average college with good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. The average salary package offered in the 2022 batch is 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA by Amazon. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. About 80% of students get placed during placement drives. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, and De Shaw.

Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 32 acres of land with well-connected transportation in one of the finest locations in Pune. We are 2 kilometers away from Akurdi railway station between Pune and Lonavala. The library is available for students. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The laboratory has all well-equipped instruments. The food is served in the mess and canteen.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Their teaching skills are not good. They lack speaking English and in between the class, they start to teach in the Marathi language. Our college is affiliated with SPPU. They conduct our mid-semester and final semester exams. The SPPU paper evaluation is difficult to score. The minimum pass percentage is 40% in an individual subject.

Placements: Around 85% were placed. The highest salary package was 45 LPA and 44 LPA at Amazon and Microsoft. Top recruiting companies are Ace, Micromatic, Amazon, AMW motors, altimetric India, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. Library is there with Wi-Fi connectivity. Computer labs and digital library are available. Library has newspapers to read in Marathi, English, and Hindi.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. They try to give their best. This course is curriculum relevant. Semester exams are very difficult as it comes under savitribai Phule Pune university. Exams this year are going to be offline.

Other: I chose this course as it is very trending and includes computer science, artificial intelligence, and data science.
