It has good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and an active campus environment.
Placements: For Mechanical Engineering at JSPM RSCOE, around 60-70% of students get placed, with packages ranging from 2.4 LPA (the lowest) to about 6-7 LPA (the highest), an average of 3-3.5 LPA, recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, KPIT, Bosch and core manufacturing firms, internships for 50-60% students, and roles such as Graduate Engineer Trainee, Design/Production Engineer, and Technical Associate.
Infrastructure: Department has campus-wide Wi-Fi, well-equipped mechanical labs (workshop, CNC, CAD/CAM, metrology, thermal and fluid labs), smart classrooms with projectors, and a well-stocked central library with textbooks, reference books and e-resources. While hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and basic amenities, mess food is average but hygienic with a functional canteen, and basic medical facilities are available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable and generally helpful, though teaching quality varies by faculty. The curriculum is relevant and covers core mechanical subjects, but students need extra certification, projects, and internships to be industry-ready, and semester exams are of moderate difficulty with a pass percentage of around 85-90% for regular, attentive students.
Other: I chose it due to an interest in core engineering, design, manufacturing, and practical problem-solving. The best aspects of the course are its strong fundamentals, well-equipped labs and workshops, exposure to CAD/CAM tools, and opportunities for projects and internships. However, more industry tie-ups, advanced software training, updated lab equipment, and stronger core-company placements would improve the course 12.

Somewhat recommended as they have a good course structure for academics.
Placements: They provide good placements, but Mech students go to Capgemini and Cognizant. They force them to apply there. Even though we are not interested in coding. Overall, core companies like JCI and others also come, but these days, competition is very high.
Infrastructure: Half the college is under renovation right now. They are making everything new again. There are 3 canteens, all of which are good and provide okayish food. Hostels are located on the campus. The general stores, too, so students do not have to go out unless they opt for PG.
Faculty: Good for exams. They provide excellent teaching and course structure. They offer re-exams better than the backlog system for students. So they don’t have to get stressed about the next end-of-semester for clearing their backlogs. They also give question banks for extra help.

The college has impressive infrastructure but lacking in faculty support.
Placements: 80% placed. 3 LPA has the minimum package, and 51 is the highest package. All companies are coming for interviews. All students are attending interviews. Almost 50% of students have secured internships. The placement packages are around 3 lakhs. All companies come for drives, and all students are allowed to attend.
Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities, good classrooms, Wi-Fi, good labs, a hostel facility, and ground. We have big screens, big classrooms, big screens. There is a good faculty member sitting arrangement or proper relatively of visibility is good. The college has digital classrooms, a playground, and many trees on the campus. The hostel facility is good. The mess and canteen are available on campus.
Faculty: We have good faculty members. They give study material. All teachers have good experience. All activities taken by my colleagues. Exam are hard. All syllabus is completed by teachers. They have more than 5 years of experience. We have digital classrooms that's why faculty provide practical work PPT, presentations, etc.

The college has good infrastructure. Not very satisfied with faculty, average placements in 2023.
Placements: Placements: Recently, a Mechanical engineering student secured a 1 crore per annum job. However, you need to focus on building your skillset to reach this level. Most students find placement in various companies, with an average package around 3-4 LPA. Some of the recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Zensar Technologies, and many others. Roles in mechanical engineering include CAD Designer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Project Manager.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. Infrastructure is average, with some broken benches, nonworking fans and lights, and no Wi-Fi. The food is above average in the canteen available. The college partially focuses on sports or games but the main objective of the college is to complete the syllabus and take exams. The college has an ambulance for any emergency. The college has IIF (Innovation and Incubation Foundation) which is a great place for you if you're working on your startup. You'll get a dedicated workplace for your startup to work on. It's one of the best things present in college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they lack the passion to teach the students. The course curriculum is relevant and even some faculty members are supportive. They guide you for your projects and startups and help if there's any need. The mid-semester exam is 30 marks out of which 12 is the passing mark and the end-semester exam is 50 marks out of which 20 is the passing mark. Overall the subject is 100 marks out of which you'll have to get 40 marks to clear that subject.
Other: I'm from the mechanical department and my year of passing out is 2027. I chose this course because I had a low cutoff for the branch I was looking for. I wish the infrastructure of this department was better and more focused on application-based learning instead of theory. The campus is crowded as this is an autonomous college. Events and fests are a big part of this college in February and March. Whereas the campus isn't big. Focus on extracurricular activities is low here.

College is above average. Placements are good in tech companies. It is very strict about attendance.
Placements: There are a total of 300 students in Mechanical Engineering, out of which 70-80% get placed. The highest package till now is 18 LPA, and the average is about 4 LPA. Companies like TVS, Tata Steel, Mahindra, and JSW are the top recruiters. 70-80% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: For Mechanical Engineering, there is a separate building. The classrooms are good and spacious. All the machines are present in the department, and a library is also available with Wi-Fi. 2 canteens are present, and the quality of food is also good. An ambulance is also available for any medical emergency.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is good, and lectures happen from time to time. The college is autonomous, so the question papers are made in the college itself. The difficulty of exams are moderate. The course curriculum is also relevant.
Other: Very less fests are organized, only one fest is conducted in a year named Gandharv, and a sports day is also conducted. The campus is small but good, and some trees are planted on the campus.

Q:   How many times is MAT conducted in a year?
A:

MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates can also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

Q:   What are the registration dates for ATMA Exam?
A:

The registration link is updated on the website, atmaaims.com. Applicants must check the ATMA eligibility criteria before applying online. ATMA 2026 registration last date is April 21, 2026. Application fee window will close on April 19, 2026.
