RKMRC is a prestigious institution.

Placements: In our college, students from the statistics and computer science courses are placed at a higher rate. Students from our college focus more on the all-India level competitive exams like TIFR, CMI, ISI, IIT JAM, NBHM, GATE, CSIR, NET, etc. So the prime focus of the students lies in cracking those exams and getting admission in house prestigious institutions.

Infrastructure: We have a college library where we get more than 90,000 books from all disciplines. There is a central library which can be accessed by the college as well as the school students. Our hostel is also well-maintained. The quality of the hostel food is moderate but it is healthy for our health.

Faculty: Our faculty members are top-notch. Here the syllabus is designed in such a way that we benefit for competitive exams like TIFR, CMI, ISI, IIT JAM, NBHM, CSIR, NET, etc. Semester exams in our college are tough and require hard work and dedication to succeed in exams. I am from the mathematics department. Especially PSM SIR and NM SIR both are top professors and their way of teaching is very unique. TDB sir and SS sir helped us throughout our studies.

Good environment to study, great opportunity for one to become a successful person.

Placements: Placements are not provided for B.Sc. Mathematics(Hons), but you can crack JAM for M.Sc. You can also get ISI, TIFR, CMI from here and can get NBHM scholarship. You can get admitted in IIT for M.Sc, through JAM, which provides you good jobs with great package.

Infrastructure: College is good. It is old but has modern infrastructure. College library is huge, with many kinds of books. There is also E-Library and unlimited Wi-Fi. Hostels are also good. Although it is old, there are all kinds of facilities available like geyser, cooler machine for water etc.

Faculty: Teachers are good and very helpful in this college. They have good knowledge in their own stream. Sometimes they use projectors that will be helpful. If you have any queries, you can ask freely. Semester exams are hard, but 90% students get passed.

Review of Ramakrishna Mission Residential College.

Placements: Students build a research background in this college. Many top companies visit our college for recruitment of science students. The top recruiting companies were Byju's, TCS, etc. Around 50-60 students got placed in our course. Almost 70% of students opted for higher studies in IITs and other renowned institutions.

Infrastructure: Hostels were very good. The food quality was excellent. Mess was also better in this college.

Faculty: Teachers were friendly. They always treat us like their own children. They also help us financially and personally. The course structure was good for in-depth knowledge.

Other: This course was the door to IIT or central universities. This college was disciplined in terms of prayers in the early morning, and dress code was also maintained properly.

I recommend students take admission to this college.

Placements: It is an autonomous college, so there are no placements in this college. Many students get an internship every year in different reputed companies. It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. It has its own fame all over the Bengal. Overall, it is amazing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good. The college has its own library containing many different types of books. There are four hostels, and all hostels are good. There is also a canteen. The food provided in the hostels is delicious. It also provides a gym and a swimming pool for students. Medical facilities are also available here.

Faculty: There are many faculty members in every department. All faculty members are well-trained. Most of them are PhD holders. They are very student-friendly and help students every time. Their teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams are not tough. Concept-based questions asked in exams.

RKMRC is an excellent college in all aspects.

Placements: A high number of students are doing research in their respective department. Placements are not about just earning money. In 2010, TCS visited our colleges for placements. Many other companies are also very interested in conducting campus drives in our college, especially for computer science, statistics, and mathematics department students.

Infrastructure: The sports grounds are liked very much by every student. Every afternoon after college, all the students go to the ground. After the day is over, we all have to go to the meditation room for praying. All the students enjoy that part. After prayer, we all go to the reading room for studying. On holidays, we used to organise group discussions, which were very much useful.

Faculty: I graduated in B.Sc Honours in Mathematics course. Our respective professors were friendly with the students. It's not like they will help only during college hours, but they also help through a phone call or conduct extra classes. Overall, we all really enjoyed our studies.

Other: Our college fest did not have much budget. Meanwhile, we organised an inter-college quiz. During our final-year (2016), famous director and writer Mr Koushik Ganguly attended the fest as a guest, and he is a former student of the college.

The college not only develops your knowledge and career, but it also develop your character.

Placements: No placements drives were organized here for our batch and our senior batch. But, 90% of the students would get admission into the IITs, IISERs for higher study. Being an honours college, the college hasn't offered any placements till now. But having a degree from this college offers ample opportunities to get admission into the top universities for post-graduation, and also students have a chance of getting a good job.

Infrastructure: The college has no Wi-Fi. The classrooms and the library, the medical facilities are good. All the types of sports facility such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, lone tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming and gym are available. The quality of the labs & classrooms is good. Quality food is available in the hostel, and it is awesome.

Faculty: They are many faculty members & their quality of teaching is very good. They are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers and students share same living space and are being governed by morals and cultural nodes of Indian life. The college will get some visiting faculty to take some special lectures. Permanent teachers and guest teachers are helpful to students.

Other: There is one departmental event and a fest. The campus is very beautiful and peaceful. Scholarships are available.

The beauty and prosperous life at RKMRC.

Placements: In our college, an average package of 12 LPA is offered to the students of Statistics. However, the students studying here mostly have an interest in academics, so very few of them sit for the placements. Most of the students aspire to competitive exams like IIT JAM, ISI, TIFR, etc.

Infrastructure: We have an e-library with Wi-Fi facilities. We also have e-classrooms. There are departmental libraries and a central library as well. The quality of food is good and healthy. We have a rich culture in sports and extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Our faculty is top-notch, including top-class professors. They are very helpful. The course is very relevant for competitive exams like IIT JAM, ISI, TIFR, etc. The professors are very student-friendly and they guide us throughout our academics.
