I am satisfied to join my dream college RKMRC Narendrapur.

Placements: Because of B.Sc. Physics is a fundamental core course most of the students in our college or our batch want to do higher studies and they also do this very well. Previous year all our seniors secure a good place at IITs, IISER, NISER, HRI, IUCAA, TIFR, and the leading universities. It's a common result for RKMRC Narendrapur. Our college also has a placement cell. If anyone wants placement they consult with the placement cell members and they help them to get the placement. We also do various internships. I also did an internship with The Sparks Foundation and also intern at Chegg India and many of our friends are also doing internships. We have free access to Internshala also. So it's quite obvious that if you join Physics Hons at RKMRC then you have to give priority to do research works.

Infrastructure: We have well-furnished classrooms, well-equipped labs, and one of the best libraries. I ever realise that we can access 15 books at a time with our college library card. It's very helpful. We also have smart classes and more than 30 computers for practical purposes. Hostels are quite good, very clean and the environment is so delightful that it touches your heart. We have also a free pass to the hospital which is for students and it's quite good. There is a huge stadium only for college students on our campus. It's quite delightful to live here. I think these 3 years will be very precious things in our life. We have 4 buildings named Brahmananda Bhavan, Gouranga Bhavan, Ramakrishnan Nanda Bhavan, and Adbhutananda Bhavan.

Faculty: All our teachers are highly qualified and very humble. They always encourage us to do something new and they are very helpful. I think it's one of the best teaching qualities in West Bengal as well as India. The course curriculum is very relevant, although it's a core science course, we are also trained to be industry-ready. The standard of the question paper is very high and it's always above average but most of the students score above 8.5 SGPA. It's quite good I think. The teacher-student ratio is 1:4. The relation with our teachers is very delightful. They are like our friends, philosopher, and guide.

Other: Our college RKMRC, ranked 21 in the list of best colleges in India by NIRF in 2021. It is accredited by NAAC in 2021 with a CGPA of 3.46 out of 4.00 (A+ Grade). It is also endowed with an incredible compendium of academic programs, innovative methodologies, intensive research, committed faculty, and sound infrastructure. It also provides scholarships to numerous students with a poor financial background grooming the young minds with innovative courses and motivational lectures. These are the key factors for which I think you have to join RKMRC Narendrapur.

It's an above average college with good students but above average teachers.

Placements: Our previous batch had good results in JAM, JEST and TIFR exams. Four students scored under 100 AIR in both JAM and JEST. There were around 9 students who scored under 200 ranks. From our batch, 4 students have cracked TIFR and are waiting for the JAM and JEST results.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the college, and the labs are quite good. There are 5 labs for physics, corresponding to different kind of experiments like optics lab, electronics lab and so on. The library has a good quantity of books but not quite related to various topics. In physics, the books are mainly course oriented. There is a hospital inside the campus. There are several fields for sports and games, and there is a stadium too.

Faculty: Our department is connected to UGC, and there are currently 7 associate professors and many guest professors. The classes of a few teachers are quite good but not all which is the same in all institutes. There are 25-30 students in a batch. B.Sc, M.Sc, and PhD courses in physics are offered here.

Other: Apart from annual sports, there are various kinds of gaming facilities available here. A swimming pool and multi-gym are available inside the campus. Cricket, football, table tennis and basketball are played by the students as per their interest.
