Ramdeobaba University; An Experience.

Placements: 80-90% of students were placed in my course. The highest package for my course was 48 LPA, which was offered by Fivetran. The lowest package was around 4.5 LPA, and the average package is around 8-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Fivetran, JP Morgan, Nutanix, Porter, Nvidia, and Infosys. Around 90% of students got internships from my course in various different companies.

Infrastructure: Some of the infrastructure in the college includes free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus. In the classrooms, smart boards are used for teaching, and PPTs are then provided as study material. Classrooms are very big and spacious with great lighting, and they have charging points for laptops and mobiles. The college provides us with a central library, both online and offline, with a very vast collection of all sorts of books to choose from. The digital tower is a building with really advanced infrastructure. The facilities provided in the hostel are quite good; the students are able to stay comfortably. The quality of the mess and canteen food is very good, and it is made available at affordable prices. Sports and games facilities are great, with various internal sports events held, like Aagaz, and the college sends teams for inter-university competitions as well. There are doctors in the hostel if needed, and even mental health is kept in mind, as free therapy sessions are organized by the college for the students.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, holding PhDs and Master’s degrees. They are well-versed in their subjects and have a deep understanding of the concepts. They try their best to impart that education to us. The course curriculum is very meticulously designed to make the students industry-ready. Very advanced subjects are being taken even in the first year. Also, competitive programming sessions are held for weeks, which make the students ready for the industry. In our course, we have topics that are most relevant and required to work in the industry. The exams in college are quite difficult, but if the student has an understanding of the concepts and has knowledge, then they can easily score well in the exams. The exams mainly test logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities of the students.

Other: The great thing about my course is that currently it is doing great in placements. There are many events held in the college that make the social life great on campus. The flagship event, known as Pratishruti, is the best event of the college. The campus crowd is very good and has knowledgeable people. The campus location is amazing, with greenery and scenic views around.

RCOEM turning University.

Placements: The placement record of our college shows that the placement rate is almost 95 percent in CS and IT branches. The highest package was 36 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Almost 98 percent of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The facilities and overall infrastructure of the college are good. The labs and classrooms have proper seating arrangements and Wi-Fi connections. Students can access the library until 6 in the evening and use the Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are also good; the quality of food in the mess and hostel is edible.

Faculty: The teachers in RCOEM are highly qualified; most of them have completed their Ph.D. The teachers have enough knowledge about the topic and subjects they are teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and the industry visits are conducted to make students industry-ready. Almost 70 percent of students pass their semester exams.

Comprehensive review on Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management.

Placements: This year, the placement of the college was slightly decreased due to inflation. It reduced to 50% in offers and in average package, it comes to 6.8 LPA from 9.7 LPA in last year. The placement this year changed drastically but the college has said that it will improve this year. So let us see what the states will be this year.

Infrastructure: The college is a little bit small according to me and other students, but they provide all the facilities to a student, like a hostel, sports, and library. Basic equipment is there, but the college should be somewhat big and the hostel is also tiny in the capacity of one student and can accommodate two students, which makes the students comfortable.

Faculty: This college has the best curriculum and they teach in full depth as well. The faculty of this college are good; they have good knowledge of subjects and they also teach well. But the exams at this college are tough; without studying, you can't pass them and by chance, if you are caught cheating, your paper will be gone and you will get direct 0 marks. After that, your committee will sit and you will ask why you have cheated and your parents will also call. So in this college, no one was caught cheating in exams.

Placements: Almost 90 percent of students were placed in CS and IT courses. The highest package was 38 lacs, the lowest was 3.5 lacs, and the average for the CS and IT branches is 9.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, etc. 95 percent of students got internships at various companies. Many top roles are offered in the CS course.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are appropriate. Wi-Fi is spread all over the campus. The lab contains all the instruments. The library is known to be the best in Nagpur. Facilities in the hostel are proper, and the quality of food in the mess and canteen is hygienic. Medical and sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. The college makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in college are difficult as compared to the internal examinations. 77 is the pass percent on the first attempt. The grades are given as per a relatively grading system.

Other: I chose CSE because of the industry demand and reputation of the course. Also, I had an interest in it. The coding facilities should be increased for CSE students, and better teachers can be assigned. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are good.

RCOEM is considered as the best college in Nagpur after VNIT.

The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, and TCS. Almost 95 percent of students got internships at top recruiting companies. All kinds of roles are offered, especially top roles, to the students in our college.

Infrastructure: RCOEM has what can be called good infrastructure and facilities. There are almost all facilities, like a well-maintained classroom, all new-generation computers in labs and other required instruments, a library continuing many of the books and Wi-Fi in each department. The hostel facility is also good and the mess provides edible food. Medical facilities are also available. Most of the sports and their equipment are available.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are helpful to RCOEM. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality can be considered good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough but not as tough as compared to other colleges as they are autonomous. Approximately 70% of students pass.

Other: I chose the course of computer engineering because I had an interest in it. The course is best suited for placement prospective. The need for coding can be improved in this course by the college. Events and fest are conducted annually, the campus crowd is fine, connectivity and campus surroundings are good, scholarships are provided with some criteria, and extracurricular activities are also being conducted.
