Placements: The placement of this college in my course is very good. Students who perform well do get placed. Teachers also guide us about placements and internships, which is a bonus point for faculty. Roles such as intern doctor, award in charge, are being offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my building is not good. It is old, rusted, and sealed. The classrooms are very compact, making it difficult for us to sit comfortably and study. The classes are also dirty. The college has a library, which is good and spacious, but one drawback is that there are specific days allotted to different departments. The college also has a hostel, but I cannot provide a review as I have not opted for the hostel on campus.
Faculty: Faculty of my course is not good. Teachers are not cooperative. Whenever we ask something, they do not solve our doubts. Most of the time, teachers are absent. The college also provides various hospital and lab visits, which help students relate their books to real-life experiences.
Other: Being a science student of biochemistry with the aim of becoming a dietician, I chose the course M.Sc. in Biochemistry. This course is good if done in this college because it provides placement in a reputed practising college in Kolkata, which is the dream of many. The attitude of faculty can be improved in this course, as they are not cooperative. The college hosts a series of events and fests. Even brands like Garnier, Eva, and a few more girlish brands approach and organise programmes, which are very helpful for students, as we get freebies.
