Other: Rayat institute of engineering and technology has well equipped labs. Location of college is very good. Placements were average. Crowd and campus life was also average. Hostel facilities were good. Classes were not very interactive in nature. Administration provided personality development classes for placements.

Other: The institute was worth the money but the crowd, campus and the placement not good. The faculty members were good but the campus facility and hostel facility was not good. The placement events were just for display as more than half of the companies were fake.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from a board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Information Technology/ informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies & obtained the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Candidates who have passed Diploma in any Engg. Trade from (PSBTE & IT) or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal, or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education shall be eligible with the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). OR Candidates who have passed 2 years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal shall be eligible.
