It has good campus which is spread 133 acres of land full of greenery, and hostel food is average.
Placements: Around 20-30% of students were placed in our class which consists of 72 students. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA the highest, and the lowest salary pacakge offered was 1.9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were L&T and Accenture. Everybody did internships through their sources. The senior associate engineer was the role offered.
Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel was good. It was newly renovated with all the possible facilities like bed, chair, table, Wi-Fi, etc. The library was vast with a wide range of books, it provides big football and cricket grounds, basketball court, etc., and the canteen was good. There was a badminton court which was well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members were all very knowledgeable and their teaching quality was good. If they pay attention, they will be ready. Semester exams were not hard. If they study for a couple of days, they can easily crack the papers. The pass percentage of our batch was 99%.

I am satisfied with the college administration. Placements were decent in 2016.
Placements: Around 95% of the eligible students got placed in our course. The salary package offered ranges from 2.8 LPA to 6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.3 LPA. Accenture, TCS, NCPL, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Software engineer, site engineer, etc., were the top roles offered to students. Almost 90% of students from our course got internships in various companies like L&T, Ultratech Cement, Namma Metro etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides many facilities, varying from well-equipped labs to books at the library regarding our course. Classroom quality was average, and the infrastructure was decent. Facilities available at the hostel were average. The canteen and mess food were above average. Sports facilities were excellent, and the staff provides all the support. There is a hospital on the campus, and charges were very nominal for students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They support students who are willing to participate in other activities. The teaching quality was top-notch, and the students were often provided extra information about the various topics rather than just sticking to the course material. The course curriculum was relevant. The college provides enough opportunities for students to showcase their talent through various seminars and events. Students are pushed to meet industry professionals and alumni to get a grip on industrial standards.
Other: The course was well-known in our college, and the review of the teachers was very good. Teachers were very supportive. The course fee could be reduced, and different groups within the college could get better with the support of the administration.

The placements and the infrastructure of the college are good.
Placements: The placements offered are good concerning the field you choose. I am a civil engineering student, and the placement cell of my college didn't help me much. I got offered IT jobs which were not useful to me, and no core companies came to our campus for placements. The placements are good if you are going for CS, IS or any other IT branch.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. It has different buildings for different streams, and the buildings are in very good condition. There's a new block that contains CS and ECE branches which is good, but the rest of the branch buildings for civil, EEE, mechanical and biotech are not in good condition. The campus is vast, and it has a cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball court too. The hostels are not very good but decent to stay. The quality of the food during my time was not good. Also, the canteen was very small and not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty members of the civil branch are not good; we had the worst faculty members. All the experienced teachers left when we entered our stream. The labs are outdated and the instruments too. They didn't even let us use a total station which was necessary at that stage.
Other: The college fest wasn't that good, as the college was too proud to display sponsors name ahead of the college name, and not much money was provided to organise the fest. Scope for receiving a scholarship is very less the faculty being biased towards people.

A good campus outside the city which has a large area, and lots of activities are appreciated.
Placements: There are no core companies. You can join computer science or electronics & communication engineering. I don't really know the highest salary offered, but there were students who got placed in pretty good companies like Infotech, Wipro, Accenture, Mu Sigma, Tata Consultancy Services, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge campus. A good number of playgrounds for sports. The canteen food is okay. New hostels have Wi-Fi. There are a digital library and a parking lot. The distance between girls hostel and boys hostel is half a kilometre. There is a lot of greenery around. Nice fast food centres are there around the campus. There are A/C seminar halls.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified. This institute also believes in giving a chance to the upcoming lectures who are new to the academic teaching profession, but they are recruited as assistant professors. The student-faculty relationship is really good and effective.

It's an average college. The crowd is good, but it is little far from the city.
Placements: The placements are pretty good for branches like CS and information science (IS). For other core branches like civil, mechanical, or EEE, very few core companies visit the college. My current year seniors have good placements with a package of 4 lakhs per annum. There is a placement cell which is active and gives information regarding the placements.
Infrastructure: The college has big classrooms, a library, sports ground, canteen, hostel, and amenity centre. Recently, the Wi-Fi has been rendered in the entire campus. The hostel rooms are pretty good. The canteen food is good and affordable. There is an ATM on the college campus. I did not face much infrastructure related issue's, but the main block of the college looks little old.
Faculty: In the department I learn, the faculty members are very helpful and well-mannered. Sometimes, it's difficult to understand the way they speak, but they are knowledgeable. We had an industrial visit also and recently it was interactive. They should adopt new methods of learning.
Other: The college has a main fest called Kalanjali. It's pretty boring, but other branch fests are all good, and their promotional events are interesting.

Review of Sir MVIT Bangalore and whether it is worth joining.
Placements: To be frank, if one wishes to join sir MVIT, I would suggest him not to join it if he is looking for a college with placements in core company. The college has only one core company which selects only 5-10 students and rest of students have to try for it. Companies offer them a package of 2-3 lakhs per annum which is not satisfactory for us to meet our own needs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Sir MVIT is not up to my expectations and also not competitive and attractive. The campus is completely connected through a moderate speed Wi-Fi. Classrooms and labs have excellent infrastructure. The library has only a few textbooks of the recent syllabus, as 80 percent of books are of the old unusual syllabus.
Faculty: The Sir MVIT faculty team is one of the best I have ever seen in my education career as they are supporting the students in all possible ways and they make the concepts easier for the students to understand. Faculty members of the civil branch are the best faculty members in the whole campus. The course here would ensure parents that they will provide all required knowledge both practically and theoretically to their students with a great experience.
Other: There is proper care taken for students who think innovatively and makes some new stuff. We can proceed with projects and try some great opportunities as college helps and supports students by funding and guiding throughout the project. The college is 2-3 km away from the main city. To purchase any stationery items like books, compass box, etc, all shops are available in on the college campus itself. But for any other purchases, we have to go to a nearby city named Hunsemaranahalli. A great opportunity for Sir MVIT students is the famous Nandi Hills which is just 40 km away from it and a great place to visit and have a lot of fun.

Faculty is satisfactory. Placements are great, but we always want better placements. Average infra.
Placements: Placements in this college are very good. Almost all get placed. Yet, civil engineers often get a core job. You may get placement in a tech company. The average package is 3 lakh. The highest package in mechanical engineering last year was 24 lakh. If you learn a lot of coding, you will get an easy and good job in a tech company. Companies like Amazon and L&T too come to the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. The playgrounds are massive. It's a big campus of more than 100+ acres, but only around 40 acres are in use. The buildings are average. It has a gym in the campus itself. But there is always a scope for renovation. New buildings too are being constructed. Overall, it's well above average. Bus services are too good.
Faculty: The faculty really depends on your department. I will discuss about the civil department. The teachers in the civil department are real good. They themselves arrange so many site visits and workshops (which other branches don't get so frequently). The teaching is also good. Few subjects are taught in seminar halls. Overall, it's good. 3 internal tests are conducted with a time gap of 1 month. The syllabus is completed well before external examinations.
Other: This college is better than many other colleges under Visvesvaraya Trust University. It is ranked under 5 amongst all other colleges (which is almost more than 100 colleges). The placements are way better. If you are planning to study in Bangalore, this college is undoubtedly good. But yes, for north Indians- try considering other universities. I feel the fees is overpriced (for those who come through ComedK. Students coming through CET can blindly enter this college because the fees is very less compared to ComedK students).

Our college, our pride. A place to make your dream come true.
Placements: This college is mainly famous because of its placements. Almost all of the students have been placed. Many of them have more than 2 job offers. The placement officers of this college are very famous among the students as they interact with each and every student personally.
Infrastructure: This college has a large infrastructure with more than 50 acres of land. There are labs, classrooms, and a playground. The labs have good and knowledgeable lab assistants. The main building of this college is very good and big. The cricket ground of this college is very famous in Bangalore.
Faculty: The faculty members of this college are good. Most of them have good knowledge but few of them are young. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:20. Being a civil engineering student, I visited 2-3 industries. Industrial visit is a part of the course here. Overall, it will be a good learning experience.
Other: This college is situated in Bangalore near the new airport road on more than 50 acres. This college is known for its good placement and infrastructure. The student-teacher relationship is very healthy. Apart from the studies, this college also helps you to develop your personality. All-round development is the main idea of this college.

Around 30k in general. If you want to know the exact figure, refer to the official website of COMED-K. You can download and check the cut-off of each branch. Hope you got your answer.

You can come in via COMEDK. If you haven't taken the exam, there's the management quota. But get your JEE Mains score card, for formality's sake. Contact the trustees via the number on the website, and they'll tell you how much to pay.
