Infrastructure and facilities are good, but placements bit lagging behind, which will pick up soon.
Placements: Not many students are placed in high-paying companies, and the average package is around 3-5 LPA. Most companies that have recruited students so far are not very popular. Note this is just what I have observed as a 1st-year student, previous years have seen good placements, with students being offered packages of up to 51 LPA and 35 LPA. So, it all boils down to your efforts. The college provides internship opportunities and free Coursera access to all students for all 4 years.
Infrastructure: VVCE college has a pretty good infrastructure, a good campus life, a food court that serves good food, a medical clinic, a Cafe Coffee Day outlet, well-equipped classrooms and labs, a library, a beautiful garden, an auditorium, and a sports and gym complex, etc. Regarding the hostel, there are 2 hostels available for girls. One is a dormitory with a high strength in a single room, while I stay in the other hostel, which is very good, including the hostel room, food, and cleanliness. For any medical issue, you will be sent to the nearest hospital.
Faculty: Lectures here are very helpful and qualified, with industry knowledge. The curriculum is not blindly followed as given by VTU, they have made a few tweaks and introduced new subjects to enhance learning. All students are provided with free access to Coursera, where they can get any number of certifications free of cost. Internal exams are a bit tough compared to the semester-end exams, which consist of written exams, quizzes, and activity-based assessments. These assessments focus on the practical application of what you have learned, instead of writing pages of assignments like in other colleges.

It is a decent tier 3 college in Mysore.
Placements: I am still in the first year, but even though we are going through a recession period. The highest package is 19 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. 60-70% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: It has a proper food court at a decent price. It has clean washrooms, good Wi-Fi, and neat classrooms. Lifts and the library are easily available. There is free purified drinking water. Basketball and badminton courts are available. There is a dedicated building for medical facilities too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is not very relevant right now because I am a first year. In the first-year, it follows the VTU curriculum. Exams are tough.

Good environment, had fun, learnt a lot, have beautiful memories with this college.
Placements: We were the 2021 batch. Almost 75% of us were placed. We had companies like Tata consultancy services, Infosys, Wipro etc. We had a The average package of 3-4 CTC and the highest was around 10-16 CTC. Students had got internship opportunities too in and around the city.
Infrastructure: We have a good spacious campus. Good canteen and library. Labs are well built with all the equipment required. Hostel facilities are good and safe for students. Parents can live without the stress that their kids are in a hostel. They need to improve a bit on the sports part.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. They are qualified as per their needs. The curriculum is a bit outdated, they need to work on the curriculum and adopt new technologies which are blooming rather than the same old technologies. Exams are conducted in a good manner without any chaos.

Review of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering.
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed in the 2021 batch. The highest package offered is 17.2 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 3.6 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, TCS, BYJU's, etc., come here. They help us in both on-campus and off-campus recruitment. They ensure that each student gets placed somewhere.
Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi facilities in every department. The quality of hostel and food is very good. Sports facilities are good. The hostel is quite homely and good. But food is a thing which needs to be compromised by students. The infrastructure is slightly low as the space is less.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. The course is relevant, and the students are made industry-ready. The pass percentage is around 75%. There are ample teachers with a doctorate who help us with both academic as well as non-academic issues. Faculty members here are really informative and resourceful.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements in our branch has always been good. All the students who are eligible i.e, students having 60% and above got placed. Around 40% of the class got placed. The average salary offered by the companies were 3.5 lacs per annum. No students got internships from college.
Infrastructure: The college has a high speed Wi-Fi connection, very good classrooms and a very good library. The quality of the labs and classrooms are second to none. The food in the canteen is average. The hostel rooms are average. There were no infrastructure related issues in the college during my stay.
Faculty: The faculty members are okay. A lot of them are bad, but some faculty members are really good. The HODs of all the departments are really helpful to the students. They help the students in their extra-curricular activities as well. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. We got some industry exposure. The course curriculum wasn't helpful.

Other: It is a nice college. Teaching staff is very good. Most famous event vidyut, which is a college fest happens every year. It is one of the biggest college fest in Mysore. And most important thing is that placement is excellent. I enjoyed every day of my graduation life. Located in gokulam 3rd stage Mysore.

One of the best colleges in Mysore.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed. The top recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture. The highest package offered this year is 27 LPA and the lowest is around 3.6 LPA-4 LPA. Internships are recommended, you can do it or not if it's your wish. You are offered jobs based on your skill set like full stack developer, devOps, cybersecurity analyst, data analyst, UI/UX designer, and more.
Infrastructure: Interactive classes and hackathons are conducted every alternative Saturday. Syllabus is updated to meet real-world standards. There is a dedicated library with all the needed books, classrooms have smart boards along with projectors to enable technology-integrated learning. In labs, there is an internet facility and you need to request if you want to access Wi-Fi for your personal use.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice, they guide you and help with the doubts you have. They teach at a pace depending on how well the class responds. Most teachers are MSE or M.Tech degree holders. Some are Ph.D. holders and some teachers are doing their Ph.D. while teaching. Course curriculum is always being monitored to meet industry standards and make sure students are ready to step into the industry. As for internals and semester exams if you prepare well you can easily score well and maintain your CGPA. Around 85% of students pass out.
Other: The campus is a bit small compared to all the other engineering colleges. I like my course i.e. information science and engineering. Teachers are good and teach very well and placements are good too. Events are always going on, you can participate to how much ever you want. The campus is really calm and full of trees, gardens, and whatnot. Every year scholarships are given after thoroughly interviewing eligible students. They conduct sports, hackathons, infothons, quizzes, and all other competitions too.

It is a good college, but there are fewer extracurricular activities and sports.
Placements: More than 75% of the students are placed by the college. The criteria for placements is 6.5 CGPA. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. Brillio, Capgemini, Infosys, L&T, Emphasis, NTT Data, HP, IBM, and Tata Consultancy Services visit the campus for recruitment. Above 50% of the students got internships. Role offered is as a software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with computers. The college also has an Apple lab. It also has a library both in offline and online mode where we can read books in online mode too. Classrooms are quite small and there are fast internet facilities. The hostel is not so good, but the cafeteria and medical aid are good and there is a minimum sports activity in college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very passionate. The teaching quality is very good. The college has introduced a new subject called engineering exploration in which we can perform projects from 1st year which helps the student lot in the final year. The internals is quite easy but the end semester exams are quite difficult. Correction of exam papers is liberal. The passing percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose this branch because expertise in computers enables me to solve complex, challenging problems in evolving world of a digital era. It would have been more fun if there was one-to-one interaction with students and more practical explanations. There will be a fest once a year named Vidyut. The campus is moderately crowded, and the campus surroundings are good with many plantations. The college provides two types of scholarships for students, one for economically backward students and an exceptional student scholarship. There are fewer extracurricular activities.
