College is promoted by professors.

Placements: I can only tell from what I've heard about placements in the college, it ranges from average to good. Internships are given from the 3rd year onwards. This year students were still getting placed because of the pandemic-the placements department does a good job of training students.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is pretty good. The campus does not cover a huge amount of land area, but it is excellent and improving with what it has. We are surrounded by trees everywhere, birds chirping. It gives off good positive vibes. Wi-Fi is available. Labs are big. There are several labs in Physics Chemistry computers, electrical to mechanical. It has everything needed in it. All classrooms have projectors and huge boards. Almost all of them are sufficiently ventilated and there is enough space for everyone. The library can be accessed any time during college hours and during exams, hostility can use it till 8 at the night. It has an abundance of textbooks, technical books and other types too. Several books are also available free of cost. There is a cricket- football ground, a volleyball-badminton ground, a basketball court, a sports room for Carrom, chess and table tennis. But visiting hours for these are limited as of now. They are looking to change it though. Coming Canteen, it does a good job of providing food. There is no problem with the quality of the food. The only issue sometimes is maybe during lunch hours due to the crowd, food might be served a little late than expected. I'm not a hostile myself, but having spoken to many hosthostiledents, I'd say they're having the typical awesome hostel Life. The food in the hostel is really good. Evening snacks are served. There's a separate sports facility in both the hostels. Most importantly, the entire campus is very clean. The college does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness.

Faculty: Being a college promoted by Professors, the faculty including the teachers and the staff are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. This is the best feature of this college. The course curriculum is based on VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) and the college follows it. You will have to do some extra courses outside of the curriculum if you have to be prepared for a competitive job. If prepared properly the semester exams are not quite that difficult. You can contact the teachers at any time and they'll help you. I'd estimate except for 10-15% of students the rest of them pass without any backlogs.

Other: I was referred to this college by my cousin. I'm thankful to have joined this college for my rank ( kcet-29.5k). I've taken up Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course. It is being introduced for the very first time due to its rising level of applications. There is a cultural fest every year which is huge. There's a tech-fest as well. Many such events and competitions take place. There is a mixed crowd and no problem in connecting. Everything you need to know about anything in the college, including scholarships is well informed through mail. You can also check it on the college website. All information is neatly given. There are NCC, NSS, photography, music, dance and more such clubs.

SVIT a place where you experience life to the fullest

Placements: Nearly 80percent of students get placed through college and the highest package offered is 20LPA and that of the lowest average package is about 3LPA . The top most recruiting companies are Axis Bank, Infosys ,TCS and many more .The top most recruited students from last year is of AIML course

Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are more affordable .The infrastructure is high and neatly maintained with all kinds of labs, library filled with plenty of books , wifi facilities for the hostlites are given for free , and classrooms maintained neatly for a good environment of learning process. The quality and facility in hostels are highly good maintained with neat and clean hygienic mess and canteen. SVIT is not only a place preferred only for studies whereas encourages in sports and games as well.

Faculty: The faculty here are really very well experienced, highly knowledgeable and Ph.D qualified. The teaching faculty is very helpful and supportive too. It's obvious that semester exams are difficult since it's VTU affiliated . But not that level of difficulty where there is a chances of failing in a subject . A little effort is much needed to pass and clear all the subjects

Other: It's obvious that AIML is a boomerang in the upcoming future . To better improve in our field of course it's highly necessary to implement and apply it in many fields. SVIT is a place where you can explore lot many things where you yourself tend to to participate in events, sports, co curricular activities , fest and lot more things. The campus is a very good environment for studies surrounded with a peace full environment.
