4 years of actual engineering.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placed at the end. The highest package is around INR 40 LPA (PhonePe) and the lowest is INR 5LPA (These are on campus). JPMC, MSCI, Barclays, Oracle etc. are few to name the top recruiting companies. 80% got internship in various companies like above. Most of the roles are in tech domain (SDE) and few are in finance based non tech or product management.
Infrastructure: WIFI is available for almost every lab/class but password is not accessible easily. You've to ask for it. Library is more than enough for an engineering student. There's no hostel, students live in nearby PGs. College only have a building in the entire campus and no playground.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and most are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is average (most students do self study at the end). Course curriculum is relevant. It does makes student industry ready. Difficulty level of sem exams is medium but since college is autonomous, it entirely depends upon the faculty.
Other: People come here from various backgrounds which makes this college feel even more good. Fest is also one of the best thing that happens in this college.

The college has all the facilities to build a superior career and improve personality.
Placements: Sardar Patel Institute of Technology is considered one of the best engineering colleges, not only in Mumbai but also in the whole Maharashtra. SPITians hold a record of getting decent placements, and it is maintained for many years. Around 95% of students get placed every year, and this number is improving continuously. Even in the pandemic situation, the average package offered in SPIT is around 10.96 LPA, and the median package is around 8.5. The highest package is around 42 LPA, which is really good. A total of 218 out of 244 students who opted for placements got placed in companies like PhonePe, VMWare, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, JP Morgan etc. In a nutshell, SPIT can be considered as one of the best institutions regarding placements.
Infrastructure: At SPIT, the infrastructure of all the courses is pretty decent. The curriculum of electronics engineering has been designed in a way that every student from the department gets all the technical as well as core knowledge about the subjects. There are quizzes and viva for improvising our subject knowledge, and it'll definitely help us in applying it in industries. The only drawback of SPIT is it has no hostel. Another fact about it is the students of SPIT are not allowed to stay in the hostel of SPCE (SP College of Engineering). Students outside of Mumbai have to stay in a PG, and they're easily available near the college area at an affordable price.
Faculty: The faculty members of every course are average like in every other engineering college. But they are highly qualified. Many of the faculty members have pursued M.Tech from notable institutes like IITs and NITs, while some of the faculty members have pursued PhDs in their respective fields, and some of them are pursuing it now. The curriculum of every course is designed according to the latest industry requirements, and it thoroughly develops students to get ready for the industries.
Other: The electronics field provides a lot of exposure to various technical and core fields. The electronics engineering department of SPIT makes you the person who can fulfill the exact requirements of industries. Oculus is the annual technical and cultural festival of SPIT, and it is considered as the 2nd biggest techno-cultural fest in Mumbai after Mood Indigo (fest of IIT Bombay). Oculus is organised in March, and it enhances extracurricular activities along with a great technical experience involving various cultural activities like Sargam (music competitions) Elan-e-Jung (dance competition) and the most exciting event of the year, i.e., War of Branches. It also involves national-level Hackathon and coding competitions which are really useful.

Review of Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.
Placements: The average salary package offered in the ETRX department is nearly about 7 LPA. For CSE and IT departments, it will be up to 10 LPA-12 LPA, which is above average. Some of the companies which visit the campus for placements are mainly LTI, Deutsche Bank, Oracle, etc. The placement procedure is also very effective.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the library to all students. The canteen is also hygienic and provides good food at reasonable prices. The library is also kept up to date and has plenty of books and magazines. Classrooms are also good.
Faculty: The professors here are pretty helpful and help us a lot in doing projects. They give importance to develop communication skills so that students are ready to do internships and jobs by the end of their course. Mini projects are also made mandatory so that students are acquainted with the hardware as well as software.

Placements are amazing, but there is no hostel.
Placements: The college has excellent placement statistics for the computer and IT branch, and it is above average for the electronics and EXTC branch. You can have an equal chance to grab the best placement if you have the required skills for the company. Most of the well-known companies visit our college, like PhonePe, JPMC and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Labs are good, and PCs also have the best and recent processors. SPIT doesn't have a hostel facility. You have to stay in a PG, which is the only option. On our campus, there is another college named SPCE, which has an on-campus hostel, but SPIT doesn't have this.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-educated and qualified, but in engineering, you should not depend on teachers. You can get any help from most of the teachers for your queries in time. Most of the teachers did a PhD in their respective fields of the subject.
Other: Our college has a techno-cultural event named Oculus. It is the best thing about this college. It is a 3-day event, and it is the thing to enjoy the most. I think if you get the computer and IT branch in this college, then I suggest going for it without any hesitation. However, for ETRX and EXTC, the college has more cutoff but not up to placements like computer science and IT.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members and good placements provided in 2015.
Placements: I think about 96% of the students get placed every year from our college. The highest salary package offered here is about 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Wipro, Siemens and KPMG are the top recruiters for our course. Good coder and software developer are the top roles offered in our course. I got an internship in the second year of my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really nice here, and the Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. There are air-conditioned classrooms, and the library is good. All books are available in the library. The hostel is not available in this college. However, you'll definitely enjoy your college life here. The campus is spread over 46 acres, and you'll get a lot to explore here.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They taught us with great effort. I think our college puts great effort to take us to a high level. If you study here for 4 years of the course, you'll definitely get a good job, or you can also opt for higher studies.
Other: I chose this course because I thought this college is really good and has the highest ranking in Mumbai. I think our college should conduct some coding classes in electronics. Oculus is the biggest fest organised in our college. The campus crowd is huge, and you'll get scholarships. Dance, drama, acting, sports and all are available in our college.
