Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College.
Placements: Pursuing B. Com from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College under University of Delhi. Around 20–30 percent students get placed yearly 3–6 LPA is the average package, and the highest is 15–20 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, EY & TCS. 40–50 percent secure internships. The highest placement till date is 23.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. There is no hostel facility available. The food quality of the canteen is good, but the price is too high. The sports ground and evening college are still under construction. You get a Wi-Fi connection. There are psychological classes also.
Faculty: Faculty is good, though there are some bad teachers. Especially, the professors teaching law are friendly, while the professors teaching accounting are not good. There are well-qualified teachers who have completed their Ph.D. from various renowned institutions.
Other: Good and budget-friendly as I am preparing for CA if you are from OBC NCL or SC ST of 180. The fee for B. Com programme is 19,875. If you are not capable of paying it, you also get subsidy according.

A great college experience with overall growth.
Placements: In my college, around 75–80 percent of students are placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is 7–8 LPA, and the average package ranges from 4–5 LPA. Most of the reputed firms are from the fields of finance, consulting, and operations sectors.
Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained classrooms with projectors and proper ventilation. There is Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. The library is spacious, with all the books provided, and it is fully air-conditioned. The hostel facilities are good, regularly maintained, and provided with basic amenities.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and extremely supportive. They are always ready to clear doubts and even help us with career-related questions. The semester exams are made to test both theoretical as well as practical skills. The passing percentage ranges from 85–90 percent.

Average college in terms of faculty, infrastructure, and crowd. Good placements in previous years.
Placements: Around 15-20 percent of students got placed in the B.Com course. The highest package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte and Ediglobe hire students. Almost 30-35 percent of students get internships in the B.Com course. Top roles offered are finance consultant and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite average. The infrastructure for my course is above average. The library is well maintained, and is open till 12 midnight, which is the only library on the University of Delhi campus. The hygiene of washrooms is quite good. However, our college does not provide a hostel facility.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified, and most of them are PhD holders. They are very helpful. Teaching quality is quite good. Our college also hires guest faculty members from other colleges who teach us. We can say that the course curriculum is relevant to some extent, but it does not prepare students for the corporate world. Semester exams in college are quite easy. The pass percentage is about 85 percent.
Other: I chose this course as it is related to my subjects, which I have opted for in class 12. The best thing is that I get to learn new concepts and develop my learning. I wish the University of Delhi would offer subjects like EVS and Hindi, as they are not relevant. Our college organizes good fests. The campus crowd is average. Our college generally organises a scholarship program.

Satisfied with all teachers and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 50% of the students are placed from my course, which is B.Com (prog ). Top companies are Upgrade and many more. Top roles offered are HR and sales. The average package goes to 6 LPA approximately. Every 4th person get internship, depending on the skills.
Infrastructure: Overall, college infrastructure is good, we have smart classes as well, and 2 libraries are there with 2 reading halls, making it accessible for everyone. Computer labs are great, and we have a geography lab, an indoor auditorium, and a sports complex that is under construction.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they teach very professionally. The course, we can say, is outdated and not as per industry. Teachers have great experience and knowledge. The course curriculum is not completely relevant. The semester exam is not that tough, almost everyone get pass.

Glimpse to reality of the students.
Placements: In my college, 60% of students get placed if you are worthy of it. The highest was 18 LPA. The lowest I don't know. In my college, the top recruiting companies are Deloitte and PwC. The roles that we get offered are in consultancy and in corporate. The internship is good. Every month new internships are released.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Basic things are present. We get two libraries for morning and evening. Wi-Fi is not good. Classrooms are pretty outdated and really need work. It's like a school classroom. In my college, there is no hostel facility as DU college doesn't provide hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are good, though some teachers lack experience, so they face problems while teaching the students. However, some professors are really up to the mark and very good. The semester exams are moderate for the college students. If you study well, you can perform well.

My journey in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College.
Placements: In the B.Com course, around 50-60% students get placement opportunities through the college placement cell. The highest package generally goes up to around 10-12 LPA, while the average package is around 4-5 LPA. The placement cell is supportive conduct seminars and CV building session to help students improve there chance. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, and many students also secure internships in finance, marketing, and accounting. The top roles offered are audit assistant, business development, and marketing associate.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is good, the classroom is pretty average, but the labs and library are good. Everything is available in the library and open 24 hours. It is good. The quality of food in the canteen is very average, not so good. Medical facilities are good. Sport and game is also good. Material is available, and there is also a sports society that conducts regular tournaments.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. They explain everything well, and send the material in a group. The teaching quality is also pretty good. The curriculum follows Delhi University guidelines and covers all important commerce subjects. It gives a student a strong theoretical base, but students need an extra certificate and internship to become industry-ready. The semester exam is moderately difficult, but if every student attends class on a daily basis he can easily pass. The pass percentage is generally good.
Other: I chose B.Com because I am interested in finance and accounting. The course gives a strong base in subjects like accounts and economics, and the college has good exposure and extracurricular activities. However, I think more practical exposure and internship opportunities would make the course better. The events and festivals are also good, every student can participate in the crowd, and extracurricular activities are also good.

Satisfied with teachers and campus, I would say best for those who are serious about their studies.
Placements: There are approximately 50% placed in my course, which is B.Com. The highest package is 96 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. On average, it's 6,00,000 per annum. The top company is Upgrade, and many. 70% people are placed with an internship, depending on the skills. HR and sales are the top offered roles.
Infrastructure: We have a smart classroom and a well-built ground for sports. We have a great multipurpose auditorium. There are 2 libraries operating for the full day. Computer labs are great. The geography lab is also good. We have one more auditorium under construction and a full sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are all experienced and also give us the experience and knowledge they already have. The course is somewhat outdated. It doesn't make students properly industry-ready. It's not very difficult to pass the examination, but to score good cheap it is definitely tough.
Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in it. The best things about my course is I have an interest in it. Updating the study material and linking it with the economy will enhance the course. Events are very regular, it's like every week, the campus is awesome.

I am satisfied with my college life, it has given me so much confidence and opportunities.
Placements: In SBSCE B.Com/B.Com hons have better placements than other courses, nearly 20-30 percent get direct placement. The highest package is 12 LPA-21 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies areDeloitte, KPMG, EY, TCS, Infosys, Indigo, etc. Students can start getting internships from the 1st year onwards. The placement cell of our college is very active.
Infrastructure: Spacious classrooms with projectors/smart boards in many classrooms. Some classes have AC and modern teaching aids. The campus has Wi-Fi connectivity, a fully computerized library with all the books available, and a spacious reading area. Computer labs with updated systems and course-related software like Tally.
Faculty: The teachers are generally qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most faculty members explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. The teaching quality may vary from subject to subject. The B.Com curriculum is designed by the University of Delhi and covers core commerce subjects. Exam level is moderate those who pay attention in classes may pass exams very easily.
