Placements: In this college, every year total 50% of students are placed in companies of banking and finance department. Companies providing packages are around 2 LPA to 5 LPA maximum salary for a completed B.Com degree. This course has total 5 batches, and one batch has 60 to 70 students seated in classroom.
Infrastructure: This college infrastructure quality is very good. In this course, many facilities are present like classroom, bathroom, fast Wi-Fi ethernet connection, library, CCTV, etc. College canteen food is present on college campus.
Faculty: In this course, faculty members are very good but staff behaviour is very bad for the students. This course is total 3 years course duration and 6 semester exam are allocated by the university. This course for passing marks is easy but scoring the highest marks is difficult for everyone.

If you want a good education and placements, the college is solid, rating 4/5.
Placements: The placements mainly include companies from domains like consulting, accounting, marketing, and sales. 30% of students get placed each year. The top companies are Deloitte, EY, GT, Zomato, and many more. The highest package in our college is 24 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-established and have AC and smart boards. The buildings are also well-developed, and every possible facility is available. The library is very big, has everything a student needs to study, and is fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty is really nice. Teachers are very good and motivate students a lot. They are never rude and help students both inside and outside the college. The curriculum is good and makes students ready for practical life. The passing percentage is 75%, which is pretty good.

It is an average college overall, but it is not so good.
Placements: Placements are not so good. Many students get placed. Good companies arrive for placement, but there are some limitations. Many students got different internships, but they are not worth it. But there is a problem with placements in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but the library is in good condition. There is construction going on in the playground. There are no good facilities for sports. There is no proper equipment for sports, and not even a proper ground for playing. Some classrooms are well-maintained, but not all.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is very good. Teachers help students, and teachers are understanding. Semester exams are of a medium level of difficulty. Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced.

Decent commerce program with active campus life, needs more industry exposure.
Placements: Around 20-30% of students get placed through campus drives or external opportunities. The highest package is 6-7 LPA, the lowest package is 2-2.5 LPA, and the average package is 3.5-4 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Wipro, Genpact, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) are among the regular recruiters. Around 40-50% of students get internships, often through platforms like Internshala, CollegeTips, Deloitte, EY, and startups. Top roles offered are audit assistant, tax consultant, financial analyst, business development executive, operations & HR intern.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available across campus, but with limited usage for evening students. Classrooms are spacious, with fans and projectors in a few; basic seating. The library is well-equipped with academic books, journals, and newspapers; evening access is available. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Evening) doesn't have its own hostel. Mess & Canteen: No college mess. The canteen serves snacks, tea, and basic meals; quality is average and affordable. Basic first-aid is available; serious cases are referred to nearby hospitals. There is access to a basketball court, cricket ground, and indoor games. Active participation in DU-level sports fests.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and have good subject knowledge. Teaching quality is decent, with some professors being very engaging. The B.Com curriculum is relevant but more theoretical; practical industry exposure depends on individual efforts. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose B.Com because it offers a strong foundation in business, finance, and commerce, opening doors to diverse career options. The best things about this course are its wide scope, flexibility for further studies (like MBA, CA), and DU's reputation. Areas for improvement: More practical exposure, an updated syllabus, and better placement support would help. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly, with active participation in fests like "Ullas" and cultural events. College is well-connected by metro and bus, and the surroundings are safe. Scholarships are available for eligible students. There are also various clubs for extracurricular activities like drama, dance, debate, and entrepreneurship.

Dream of DY students: SBSC.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Com program from SBSC (e). B.Com is highly anticipated course in Delhi University as many students opting this course. CUET score are accepted for almost all the course offered in DU. Court score for B.Com program in my college is 650/700. The average package offered in B.Com in my college is 6 LPA. Top recruiting company are Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The role offered in this course is audit assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is currently under construction as the auditorium is in progress. Our college does not offer hostel and not even in progress, nor is there any hope for future. Library of our college is small. Overall, infrastructure facilities is very average.
Faculty: All teachers of my course at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College are very helpful, they are always ready to help you whether it is for academic or personal. Curriculum of B.Com is more theoretical, more focused are given to assignments and tests. The passing percentage is not much.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to study commerce and accounting and want to make career in it. I wish it could be more practical rather then theoretical. There are event and fest conduct by department but don't hope much about fest.

- Register and ApplyInterested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Application registration fee for various categories - UG/OBS) – Rs.100 SC/ST/PwD – Rs.50 Sports/ECA quota - Rs.200
- Course and College SelectionCut-off list for each college, course and reservation category would be published on the university portal. Candidates meeting the requisite cut-offs, has to select the desired course and college on DU admission portal.
- Document VerificationCandidates have to get all the required documents verified by the college they choose based on the announced cut-offs. Candidates should carry original documents along with 2 sets of self-attested photocopies.
