Review of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon.
Placements: The highest package of the college is 14 LPA on campus and off-campus, which is more than 14 LPA. Top companies like Tata, Bajaj, Tech Mahindra, and TCS hire mechanical engineering students. Most of them got placed, and most of the time, 90% of students get placed in college.
Infrastructure: There are five courses for BE students. MBA students get entry through CET. The hostel is separate for all first to fourth year students. In the first year, students get three sharing rooms. The hostel food is good. The canteen is near the hostel and should be improved. Medical facilities are also present in the college.
Faculty: In college, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Co-curricular activities are much more. They are highly qualified. They help students, and most of them are very supportive. Semester exams are not very tough, but the question solving is difficult.
Other: The college provides most of the skill fests that are helpful for students to improve their skills. The college fest is good. The campus is spread over 82 acres of land. The crowd has 1400 students. Most of the time, the college focuses on students' extracurricular activities.

It is the best college in Vidharbha.
Placements: Placements are very good. We just need to be skilled. Companies from different regions visit the college for placement drives. Companies provide jobs for students with good or average packages. Students who have done hard work get their dream job or guidance in college from the best faculty members.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. It has the best quality of network connection, with maintained quality of food. Facilities in the canteen are really good. It maintains the quality of food at a proper price.
Faculty: Teachers are best and well-qualified. Many of them have registered for PhD and many have done it already. They also provide training by the college for giving their best of knowledge with new technology courses. They maintain discipline as well as friendly relations with students. They always motivate and support students.
Other: The best thing about our course is labs have the latest technology. They provide hands-on training on new technology. It helps to take part in extracurricular activities by giving relation in academics for a fixed period.

Really good college with supportive staff and good campus life.
Placements: The college provides placements every year to many reputed companies. The placement statistics of the college are very high compared to other colleges in our university. Companies like TCS, Bosch, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Power, and Arohi are mostly hiring students in the academic year 2023-2024. The highest package is 9 lakh. It not only provides a good platform for IT and CS students but also for core branches like Mechanical and Electrical. The highest package for Mechanical last year was 8.5 lakh, with a placement rate of 85%.
Infrastructure: The college has a very big and green campus of almost 80+ acres, providing all facilities inside the campus such as a consumer store, food store, mess, hostel, hair salon, gym, ground, cricket ground, and many more facilities. The hostel is also much better than other colleges, providing Wi-Fi, a common room, etc.
Faculty: The teaching and non-teaching staff in the college are very supportive and always there for students, conducting extra classes, additional doubt-clearing sessions, and many skill-building activities for a bright future. In the university, an 80-20 pattern is followed for exams, with 80 marks for the theory paper and 20 for internal assessment. The curriculum designed by the college is also excellent, including all relevant topics.
Other: The college has a good campus life and learning experience, conducting many events such as technical (Pursuit), Culfest, and the alumni meet. Alumni from the college, from 1983 to 2024, gather during the meet, reminiscing about their old memories. Various alumni from abroad also come for this function, which encourages current students for their future.

Our college is good at teaching but not in extracurricular activities.
Placements: Only 15% of the students got placed from our course. Only a few students or about 5% of students, got internships through our college. Our college needs to focus on providing placements. It also needs to focus on students' skills like which student lacks in a particular thing. If it focuses on these things, then students will definitely get placed in good organisations.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available here like a library, Wi-Fi, etc. In the hostel, hygiene is maintained. Food, infrastructure, medical facilities, etc., are available in the hostel. Sports and games are also provided. For sports, there is a badminton court, basketball court, cricket for girls and boys, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are really helpful. They always used to teach us about what are the needs of today's industries like which skills we have to focus on. They used to teach the topic multiple times until we properly understand it. They always plan a new webinar for us to improve our knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because I am quite interested in it. One thing which I wish our college to improve is the placement rate because it is very low. Apart from that, all things are good.

Our college, hostel and faculty members are the best.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. A separate placement cell is available, which monitors every student about their skills and giving them the training to get better in their interviews. The highest salary package offered this year is 30 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The placement cell works well in this college. Many reputed companies that visit our college are Amazon, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS and many others.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-designed administrative block and various other rooms and facilities for students such as girls' common room and boys' common room, waiting room, co-operative store, etc. It provided well-equipped and furnished labs for basic sciences separately and other departmental laboratories as per the norms of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, supportive and always ready to help us. With their support, I successfully got placed in a campus placement drive.
Other: I wish the college to provide more games.
