College life is average, and the college infrastructure is good.

Placements: In my batch, approximately 60% of students get placed from reputed MNCs like TCS, L&T Technology Service Limited, Wipro, Hinduja, TASL, BYJU's etc. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.8 LPA. Only a few students get internships from companies, but we have to apply on our own. The top roles offered are system engineer, GET etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but it is a waste because it gives only 28 MB. Labs are the worst in our college because they are not well-equipped. All other facilities in our college are average. Medical facilities are pretty good.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is great only for theory subjects. I don't think the curriculum is good because the theory is given importance over practical, and it will never help students to become industry-ready. The pass percentage is around 80%.

Review of G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placement rate in our college is very low. We are not expecting any placement from our college. Previous batches passed out students didn't get their call letters yet. So we just gain the knowledge from here but not placement chances.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is almost good, but our college is always under construction. However, the premises were quite huge, and there was good space for sports. Classrooms are huge and spacious, and the library is also good. There are good labs for different branches. The food served in the canteen was good.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good, but only senior faculty members have a good experience in their field. But the new faculty members do not have the field experience and also do not have the industrial experience. So they can't even provide us with the best examples of industries.

Review of G H Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good as only 30% of the students get placed and that also from the mechanical branch with very low salary packages. But placements of other branches are poorer than this branch. Internships are not provided by our college, and we have to take permission letter from college and apply on our own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good, and the campus is well spacious and has sufficient space for sports activities and the games. There is a sports room in our college where all indoor games are played. Medical facilities are good, and 24x7 ambulance service is available on our campus.

Faculty: Faculty members here were quite supportive. They provided us with good knowledge as per the senior faculty members. However, junior teaching staff members were also good in nature but didn't have sufficient knowledge and experience of the industry. So they are unable to share their field experience.

40 percentage students placed.

Placements: There is only 40 percentage students placed in our college that also in mechanical branch and the status of other branches was poor than this also. The highest package was 3.2 Lacs and the lowest package was 1.2 Lacs.

Infrastructure: The campus was quite good and the facilities was okay since the campus was new and they are developing the infrastructure so cant say bad but the hostel facilities was good and the food provided in canteen and mess was good, the taste was good during our batch mess service provider.

Faculty: The teacher were good only the senior staff they are having the experience and well qualified and also having the industrial knowledge which they provide to us but the new faculty members was not so good since they don't have the field experience they should more focus on syllabus.

Faculty is well qualified but the curriculum is not relevant at all.

Placements: According to my knowledge last year our college got enough placements by placing more than 100 students from college. If I talk about the highest package the student from mechanical department secured the 10 Lacs package from BYJU'S and the average package is about 2.6 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is about 1.2 Lacs per annum. From my observation, Mahindra and Mahindra, ADANI power plant are the top recruiters. Students' internship depends upon their interest and according to which they take internship.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good and up to the mark. Labs are not up to the mark and same for classrooms. Library is in very good condition but there are various issues that we have to face. Facility in the hostel is very good in every aspect. Sometime the quality of food may vary.

Faculty: Everything is good. Some teachers are helpful and some are not but most of the faculty members are enough qualified to teach us. Nearly 40% of teachers teach in a good manner. Curriculum is almost garbage. Students are not ready for industry.

Excellent faculty and support ecosystem.

Placements: I graduated in 2015 from G. H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering and over 15 companies visited our campus. In addition to this, Raisoni closed placement drives for Raisoni group where all the esteemed companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Visited for recruitment. Further the placement cell provided calls for next three years to those who were not placed. Around 70% of my batch was placed on and off campus with in two years of graduation and rest either went for higher studies or started their own business. The highest package offered was 6LPA and lost was around 3LPA. Almost 100% of students got internship as it was also a mandate by college. College offered necessary assistance in searching suitable internships.

Infrastructure: I have been living in main city so can not comment on Hostels. The college campus and labs are well-equipped with necessary amenities. Whole campus is energised by clean solar energy and has Wi-Fi connectivity. Library has all the course material from leading international authors and then librarian (MS. Tajne) is a gem of a person. GHRAET has one of the best canteen in whole Hingna area. Students from nearby college can be seen having famous Chinese bhel during college festivals. College also had a visiting physician for students on week days. The sports and games facilities are also at par top colleges in country. GHRAET has the largest sports complex in Hingna area of Nagpur.

Faculty: All the teachers in mechanical engineering department posses extensive industrial experience with a passion for teaching. Faculty members like Mr. Prashant Awachat, Mr. Tejpal Parshivnikar and Mr. Akhilesh Ugale put extra efforts in building foundation concepts. They are always available to their students and share a bond of understanding. There approach is "Need Based" hence they adapt their pedagogy most suited for the batch and its capabilities. The curriculum followed is of Nagpur university which was recently updated after my graduation. Therefore I am not in position to comment on it.

Other: I elected mechanical engineering as my Majors primarily because of developing a deep understanding of STEM field. It was during the course I developed an inclination for Energy conservation. The curriculum of course can be improved by providing extensive industrial exposure through training and workshops on regular basis. The alumni network of whole Raisoni group of institutions is very strong and regular meets are arranged. The college crowd is best in the area and campus is well located not very far from the city heart, Dharampeth. The extracurricular activities are also great and I had the opportunity to serve as cultural secretary of college in 2011. I organised various cultural activities and since then the annual gathering of college is burgeoning endlessly.

The college offers a very good environment for studying.

Placements: The college didn't provide placements during our time. It's just a college for name sake. However, as I heard now the things have changed after the appointment of the new principal. The course was highly efficient. It was efficient for learning and applying the skills which were learnt during my tenure.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college offered a very pleasant environment for studying. The mechanical department is the best in the college. Labs are also good. Indoor games are also available here which are played very well by the players in college.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good at teaching and motivating the students. Sometimes they also act particular about the studies and giving the internal marks. It is a good thing as it works as a motivation for the students to perform well in the exams.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. More than 70-80 companies visit the campus for placements. Placement staffs are fantastic. The overall campus environment is good. The placement process is standard and the best. The core and software companies visit the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The canteen is average. The workshop is good, and many machines are available in a workshop like lathe machines and CNC machines. A computer lab is present on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are the best. The principal of our college is the best. Other staff members are also good. The faculty for the German language is good. Faculty members in the workshops are also good. Overall, the faculty members are the best. The course curriculum is also the best.

Other: Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti is organised very well in the college. Other events are also organised.
