Q:   Can I get admission at SIBM Pune without entrance exam?
A: 

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants seeking admission in Executive PGDM do not require passing an entrance test. The selection is based on performance of the candidates in the personal interview round. For MBA courses, candidates do need to pass SNAP. Selected candidates have to futher pass GEPI round for final admission.

Q:   How can I get admission at SIBM Pune?
A: 

SIBM Pune offers admission to candidates in MBA programmes based on their SNAP scores. Shortlisted aspirants have to further pass GEPI round for final selection. Besides, admission to Executive PGDM programme is based on performance of the candidates in the personal interview round. Once all the selection rounds are over, the institute releases a merit list. Selected aspirants have to confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

Q:   What is the last date to apply for SIBM Pune?
A: 

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management admits students on the basis of valid SNAP scores. The registration window is now closed for SIBM Pune MBA admission. However, candidates seeking admission to the SIBM Pune Executive MBA course can apply online by visiting the official website of the institute. SIBM Pune Executive MBA admission is currently open. SIBM offers a two-year full-time Executive MBA course at the postgraduate level across six specialisations including Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Analytics & IT, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. 

Q:   What is the criteria for getting admission in SIBM? I am from Nepal.
A: 

In general, admission for Indian students is based on entrance exam scores and merit. The candidates must clear the SNAP exam and must have a good academic background.

The college is good enough to study according to Indian standards.
Placements: There are very good placements, and 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 53 LPA and the lowest package is 28.83 LPA. IBM and KPMG are the top companies. A high percentage of students get great internship opportunities. Roles like business analyst, advisory, data science, market researcher, and risk analyst are offered to students.
Infrastructure: There are three hostels which are located in new, old and annex within close range to mess with double, triple and single sharing rooms separately for boys and girls. The food is also good enough with proper quality check and clealiness. There are sports and entertainment facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and have a very vast experience with the subject they are teaching. They are fully educated and industry experts. The quality of teaching is very good. They teach according to the industry curriculum and they make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course as this is industry-relevant and very trendy. My course provides me with my interest knowledge, and they can make it more practical instead of theory learning. There is a very happening movement around the college.

College campus is large enough.
Placements: The chance for placement begins in the fifth trimester, in addition to the replacement offer. Campus visitors from Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase and Company, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. 200 candidates were hired. Microsoft's top domestic package is Rs. 45 Lacs, and the typical is Rs. 21 Lacs. Finance, Sales and Marketing, Consulting, International Business, IT, Analytics, and Trade are among the available profiles. I intend to work for a reputable trade company like Cargill, Olam International, or Cofico after receiving my degree.
Infrastructure: The college does not have its boys hostel it has three girls hostels of its own they have tie ups with private hostels there are hostel which offer you a room at 90,000 to hostels where the price is 2,75,000 the food is good in my hostel I would recommend a first year student to stay in a hostel for a year then shift to a flat.
Faculty: International Business MBA is the need of the hour. Has emerging career prospects. In the course curriculum, the first year covers courses from all domains of marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, and human resources. The faculty is highly qualified and regularly publishes research papers. Exams are on time after every trimester and if studied seriously are not difficult to pass.

My review of this college.
Placements: The placement cell works to bring in companies that might be interested in campus recruitment. However, the college does not guarantee 100% placements, but I'll tell you why that's fine. The average pay is 6-7 LPA, whereas the maximum goes to 17 LPA, depending on market conditions. The key recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Tata Motors, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Vodafone, Airtel, Reliance Industries, Virtusa, and many more. Even Microsoft visits the campus. Companies from various domains such as operators, consulting, network, VAS, digital media, etc. Packages vary upon the company and skill sets of students.
Infrastructure: One of the best campuses in the country. Hostel rooms are clean and airy and are available on twin or 3-sharing. The hostel has a basketball court, 2 badminton courts, a squash court, a swimming pool, a football stadium, a gym, and an aerobics centre. There are PGs around within the range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month. However, by the second year, most students prefer staying in flats with their friends, and they are all available close to the college. The course is divided into trimesters and is of 2 years duration, including industrial training. The course consists of computer courses in software engineering.
Faculty: Exams are held every six months; however, assignments and tests keep you very busy in the first two semesters. The last two semesters are relatively lighter and more focused on preparation for placements. The faculty members of every subject range from average to very good, depending on the luck of the individuals as well. Sometimes a class gets better faculty members than others. However, they are all helpful, not just regarding the course but also regarding extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. In fact, every student is assigned one faculty member as a mentor who guides them through every problem a student comes across.

Placements: 100% students were placed. Top roles offered were of management trainee profile. The highest CTC offered was 34.26 Lacs. The average CTC offered was 20.14 Lacs. Median CTC was 18.50 Lacs. The top recruiting companies were - Abbott, Accenture, Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group, American Express, Axis Bank, Bajaj, Godrej, ITC, Mahindra and Mahindra, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities offered at SIBM Pune are state of the art. We are blessed with beautiful and picturesque campus at the top of lavale hills. We have a state of art library as well as access to online database like EBSCO and Prowess IQ. The classrooms are equipped with technology to help learning and presentations. The campus has a hostel to support the residential programme.
Faculty: The teachers were more than helpful. At SIBM Pune, the pedagogy is a combination of lectures, case studies and peer learning. We have a case based approach to learning in the classroom where we all can learn from each others point of view. The teachers support us with constant guidance and show us the right way. We are given assignments which mainly focus on applying the skills that we have learned in the classroom. Most are group assignments so we get to learn from our peers and learn the thinking process. Also, in these two years, we get to work on soft skills such as team learning, time management and people management.
Other: The MBA flagship course offers 4 specialisations - Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Operations. Each one has an undeniable importance in today's corporate world. The courses are in line with the latest corporate strategies and relevant in terms of what is being practised in the real world. SIBM has an ingrained student driven culture. We have 9 student councils and 6 special interest groups. The student councils handle all activities from placements, admissions, bringing in live project opportunities, corporate interface, college events like fests, alumni meets, etc.

SIBM Pune admission to full-time MBA and MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship course is based on SNAP scores 2024. As per last year's trends, SNAP cut off for SIBM Pune must be around 98.5 percentile.
