Satisfied with the facilities and their teaching..
Placements: In SIT, we have almost 100% placements. Our training and placement department will bring all the possible companies. While coming to our branch Electronics and Communication, we have above 70% of packages. The highest package is as high as 34 LPA. Our branch ECE package is 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have all the infrastructure available, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries. As I'm a day scholar, I know the facilities in the hostels, such as Wi-Fi facilities, hot water, clothes washing, and so on. The food is absolutely good and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and clearly explain the topics. They will clarify our doubts. The syllabus they keep is very useful for the company and industries. The semester exams are good. We have to score 40% in both internals and exams for passing.
Other: Firstly, I wanted to join the SIT irrespective of the branch. I got ECE, and the best thing about this is that we can go either for the core or the IT side. Our college conducts events regularly to improve the students' skills. Our college has the biggest fests, Halcyon and Spandana, which will be celebrated grandly.

SIT combines quality education, labs, hostels, and extracurricular opportunities.
Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 batch, pursuing B.E in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering nearly 75-80% of students from our course secured placements through campus drives. The highest package offered was around 12 LPA, average package stood at 5.5 LPA, while the lowest was 3.2 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, and Bosch. About 65% of students also received internships, like TCS, Infosys, and Bosch. The major roles offered were Embedded Engineer, software developer, and VLSI design Engineer.
Infrastructure: Has good infrastructure that supports academics and student life. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors for interactive learning. Labs are well-maintained and updated, giving students practical exposure along with theory. The library is a highlight, with a wide range of books, e-sources like IEEE and Springer. Wi-Fi works reliably across the campus. Hostiles are comfortable, and mess food is hygienic. Medical facilities are reliable. Sports and extracurricular facilities are good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are approachable and willing to clarify doubts both during class and after class. The teaching quality is good, combining theory with practical sessions. The course curriculum is reasonably updated and provides a solid foundation in core subjects. While the syllabus prepares students academically, gaining industry-specific skills. Semester exams are moderately challenging. The pass percentage is fairly high, around 85-90% indicating the exams are fair but demand consistent preparation.
Other: I am from the 2025 batch, B.E in Telecommunication Engineering. The best thing about course is structured labs, practical projects, and exposure to modern telecom tools. I wish the curriculum included more industry-oriented electives. Campus life in SIT is lively and engaging. The annual technical and cultural fests are well-organised. Extracurricular activities are actively promoted through clubs for technical projects, robotics, cultural events, and sports.

Supportive faculty, good hostel, modern labs, safe campus, and decent placements.
Placements: Completed Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at SIT Tumkur. About 80–85% of my batch got placed, with packages ranging from 4 LPA to 12 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Texas Instruments. Nearly 60% secured internships in companies like Cognizant and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Sports facilities include cricket, football, and volleyball grounds and indoor games like badminton and table tennis. Overall, the combination of good academic infrastructure, hostel comfort, medical care, and extracurricular facilities creates a supportive environment for students. Our course had well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, a library, and smart classrooms. The hostel offered good food, medical care, sports, and decent facilities. The infrastructure for the Electronics and Telecommunication course at SIT Tumkur is well-developed and student-friendly. The department is equipped with spacious classrooms, projectors, and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity, which makes learning more interactive and accessible.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, the curriculum was industry-relevant, exams were moderately difficult with a high pass percentage, and overall teaching quality was good. The faculty in the Electronics and Telecommunication department at SIT Tumkur are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. Most professors hold advanced degrees and have a good blend of teaching and research experience, which makes the classes engaging and insightful. They are always willing to clear doubts and guide students through projects, seminars, and internships. Guest lectures and industry sessions are also organized, which provide additional exposure beyond the course curriculum, which is well structured and regularly updated to align with industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics. The best were the labs and exposure. Improvement is needed in placements. Campus is vibrant with fests.

Placements: Placements in our college have been a great success. It brought many top MNCs and helped us to fetch offers from those top companies by providing many training programs. The placement head and the faculty members related to placement are putting in their utmost efforts to bring out the best companies to the college, and with very good packages, the companies are offering a minimum of 2.5 lakhs to a maximum of 30 to 35 lakhs, which the site is bringing to campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and accommodation are very comfortable and good at our college. It has large playgrounds for all the sports, auditoriums, and well-ventilated classrooms with smart boards. Apart from the infrastructure of the college building, the hostel buildings are also well-convenient and ventilated with a good dining area, sleep areas, and study areas.
Faculty: Faculty members in SRT are very talented, excellent, and very well-versed in their field of knowledge. They are very supportive and will be available at any time to clear our doubts and questions related to our academics. They not only help us in our academics, but they also help us train to get the best opportunities related to placement.
Other: It will conduct the required number of events, which are related to enjoyment, including memory-making, in the degree colleges. Placements: Maximum members from our batch got placed in companies like Ascension, LTIMindtree, Capgemini, Dish Network, Empower, Delta, BNP Paribas, Mistral, Toshiba, Texas Instruments, Microland, etc. For roles like associate software engineer, analyst, tech consultant, developer, etc. The highest package is 27 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure on the campus are very good, which includes medical facilities, sports, and games. All engineering textbooks are available in the campus library itself. As students, we can make use of the infrastructure in the college and hostel.
