If you want to do engineering in IT, computer, or ENTC, you should opt this college.
Placements: A lot of companies visit our campus for placements, but most of them are looking for IT, computer and ENTC students. So if you want to do engineering in one of these courses, then I will recommend you to opt for this college. Basically, many IT and computer students got placed. They also prefer civil and mechanical engineering students. But in my opinion, after studying civil engineering course why should they opt placement in an IT company. Almost 1 or 2 companies visit the campus for placements of civil engineering students. Overall placements are good here.
Infrastructure: The campus is great. I think it is the best campus among other colleges in Pune.
Faculty: Professors in the college are very helpful. They will help you with your studies and clear your doubts. However, in the end, it depends on the students' hard work. Regarding extracurricular activities, this is the best college you will find because it conducts many activities and improves your knowledge.

The review of Sinhgad Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements were awesome. Though I was an average student, I got placed in TCS. Sinhgad College is absolutely good in education and premium facility. The Sinhgad Institute has got all the courses like medical, science, arts and commerce fields.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is best in class. All the buildings have been constructed with the latest technology. The infrastructure has been carried out within a year with all the legality and government approved certified. The material used for construction is also the best in quality.
Faculty: Sinhgad College teachers are best, and all the teachers are well-qualified with an excellent education. The students get all the best education. Students also get all the required help from staff, and teachers also give all the time to students and are very much helpful.
Other: Events like Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities come and perform in Sinhgad College. Campus crowd is standard but varies from courses. All the malls, multiplex & shopping complexes are convenient.

Good infrastructure with average academic performance.
Placements: Placements for civil engineering is really bad. Hardly 5 to 7 core companies approached but 2 of them didn't even show up. This year inspite of getting to the last round of Praj infrastructure nobody was recruited. Only 3 students from civil engineering were placed and two of them were placed in IT companies. Placements for CS and IT branch were pretty good though. Mass recruiters like Accenture, infosys hired almost 60-70% of students and Tata and Oracle also recruited few of the toppers with an average package of 4.5-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is abysmal. It has a huge parking that can accommodate all the vehicles. (Staff parking as well as Student)
Some portion of the drainge system is damaged though hence in rainy season rain water gets saturated on the campus roads. It has a huge cricket ground which also serves as concert venue or for other cultural activities though the ground is considered out of campus. It also has a small Cultural Center (CC) used during college gatherings or fashion shows during karandak. The buildings are well maintained with regular purified drinking water. The classrooms are well lit, spacious and airy ( without Air-conditioning). The labs are provided with all the necessary equipments (even the expensive ones) and a lab technician. It has a 24 hour 5- floored library with a 24 hr food place called Rooftop on the terrace. It also includes a digital library. There are several small food courts, canteens, shops and even a CCD in it. The food quality is average but you'll get everything right from vadapav to burgers here. Roads in the campus are clean, maintained and planted with tress on both the sides. The whole campus has a Wi-Fi connection though might not work well all the times due to large no. Of people using it simultaneously. The campus also has a clinic with free services to hostelite and a medical shop. It also has hostels right from first year to the last. The rooms are cleaned weekly by the authorities. Each room has a seperate toilet and a bathroom attached to it. Hot water is available for 2 hours in the morning. The food served here is worse but it is mandatory with the hostel. Wi-Fi's are available in the hostel but not all the rooms are covered in its range.
Faculty: The senior teachers are pretty good but they are very few, the rest of the assistant professors do not have a working experience and some of them don't even have proper subject knowledge. Hence easy subjects can be managed by self- preparation but it gets really cumbersome with subjects like design of structures or fluid mechanics, etc. Projectors are available in all the classrooms but then most of the assistant prof. just scroll the slides and read from them. Most of them are really helpful during the submission period though and they take efforts to resolve doubts regarding any subject. Practicals are conducted seriously and so are vivas. Attendance is not an issue as long as you pull it above 30-40%. Internship programmes are arranged by the college as a tie up with companies for 15-20 days and you get a completion certificate and some knowledge regarding practical applications.
Other: One of the most important fest held in this college is Sinhgad karandak where several colleges participate in huge events like fashion shows and music concerts and small technical events too. The campus crowd is pretty good, people from all the states come here to take courses and even foreigners from Afghanistan or congo, etc.

The college is good for the engineering. The faculty, placement and infrastructure are good.
Placements: The placement is good at this institute. Many companies are visiting the campus for the placement cell. Every year, about 60-70% of the students got placed. The internship cell is also good in this institute. Institute offers many reputed companies and research centres for the internship programme. It is inefficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is too good. The classrooms, labs, and library are good. The library is opened for 24/7. The labs are good as all the instrument, which are essential are available anytime. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostels are good, and the rooms of the hostel are too good, clean, and available with all the facilities like 24/7 electricity, hot water, cold water, purified drinking water, TV room, etc. Overall, the infrastructure is the best on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members of Sinhgad Institute are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Many advanced and unique teaching methods are used by the faculty members. The ratio of students to faculty is about average, which is 50:2. We are getting the industry exposure by the faculty members.
Other: Many cultural events, technical, and non- technical events are arranged by the college. Most of the students participate in this events. The most awaiting cultural fest Sinhgad Karandak has arranged annually on the campus, which is popular in Pune. Out of the cultural events, many sports events are also arranged by the college. The students and the college also arrange the scholarship programs and the other extracurricular activities.

It has good infrastructure, good quality of teaching, poor placements and public transport.
Placements: The placements for the civil branch are quite less as compared to other branches like CSE, mechanical, IT, ENTC etc. Few companies are coming regularly for campus recruitment, and offer package between 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA but select limited students. In our batch only 10 people are selected out of 30 (only 30 students were registered for placement).
Infrastructure: The atmosphere of the institute is very pleasant. The campus of the institute is beautiful. There is very good facility of hostels. Also, there are very good facilities for sports. There are many canteens in the campus, and they served very good food. The classrooms and labs are also in good condition.
Faculty: The teachers here are well-qualified and have deep knowledge of the subjects. The teachers are very helpful and maintain the friendly relationship with there students. The quality of teaching is also very good. The student to faculty ratio in the institute is 30. Some teachers have good contacts in the industry so that students can get industrial exposure.
Other: Sinhgad Karandak is the biggest cultural event held in institute every year. The biggest technical event held every year is Tectonic. These events are very big and large amount of people participate and present from all over India during these events. There are great opportunities for students for extracurricular activities.There is bus connectivity to the institute, but the frequency is less. Most of the people bring their vehicles. Good parking facility is available in the institute.
