Our college is good enough for the betterment of a student's future.
Placements: I am currently pursuing electrical engineering. The college is excellent.
Infrastructure: The college is of 7 floors with a library. It is clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is available in the library and on the first floor. It also has an incubating centre for students to develop their skills and communication. The college canteen is on the second floor, and it serves very good, tasty and healthy food. Cantin is on 2nd floor.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good, and they provide a good quality of education which helps students to increase their skills. Along with education, they also help us in other activities. They take us for industrial visits for extra curriculum and conduct workshop activities and many more. They help us with their best. Staff members are very polite and caring. They clear our doubts whenever we ask.
Other: I opted this course because I am passionate about this field, and I like electrical engineering.

Overall, the college is good because of its placements, infrastructure and senior staff.
Placements: The staff in the placement cell did great work. Around 130 companies visited the campus and recruited 40-50 students. Students with average grades can also get placed. Electrical students got placed in core companies, which is quite impressive.
Infrastructure: We have just shifted to the new college, where we have good classrooms, labs, security system, canteen and also an auditorium to organise functions. Freshers party was organised in the seminar hall. Parking and gymkhana facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, helpful and experienced. They have good knowledge. Faculty members in the electrical department are quite good and have good knowledge to suggest us about our career.

My experience in this college was very bad.
Placements: There are no placements, and none has got placed from our batch. From our senior batch, two students got placed. Only ten students got internships from my batch. There is a placement cell, but it is useless. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Only one company called Torrent Power has visited our campus.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. Labs are average and are not maintained properly. Classrooms are average. The canteen is very bad, it is like a roadside food court. Medical facilities are poor. The hostel is not available. The food quality is below average. Neither indoor games nor outdoor games are provided.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are knowledgeable. Apart from them, all other teachers are ignorant. Only a few teachers are helpful, but no one was helpful in my case. I didn't get industry exposure. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. Teaching quality is below average, and the method they used is not helpful.
Other: Many events and fests are conducted. The campus crowd is very small. The college provides scholarships. The college doesn't promote extracurricular activities. Connectivity is average.

The college had bad placements. The faculty members were very good, well qualified and helpful.
Placements: There were no placement opportunities in our college. Only one or two students got selected through placement drives. There were also no placements for students last year. Only around 5% of the students got placed through placements. Off-campus drives were conducted in the college last year. Few students got selected through campus placement drives.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not provided in our college. The environment in the classrooms was good, but they were not equipped with A/Cs. Sports were held in January and are very enjoyable. Medical facilities in the college were poor. There were no hostels on the campus. Food offered in the canteen was bad.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college were helpful and well qualified. Teachers used the same old methods for teaching, and video lectures were rarely taken. Industrial visits were rarely organised. Students only get a little industry exposure.
Other: Ignite is the biggest event held in our college. The technical and cultural fest was also very popular. Campus crowd was very poor. There were no extracurricular activities organised in the college.

Review of Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering.
Placements: In our batch, there were 120 students in B.Tech electrical engineering course. 40% of students were placed. 5 LPA was the highest salary, and 3 LPA was the lowest salary. Jonshons Control was top recruiting company. 20% of students got internships at Adani. Junior engineer trainee was top role offered.
Infrastructure: About facilities and infrastructure, there were separate rooms and labs for every department. There was Wi-Fi in labs and library. There was no hostel in our college. But there was canteen which had average food quality and famous for sangram.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields or their subjects. Course curriculum was relevant. While performing in labs students get the knowledge of industry. Semester exam level was moderate.
Other: I was interested in this course while I was done with my diploma in same course. Best thing about my course was that it gives you the best option in government sector. The things that would be better were giving students assignments to keep remembering their knowledge about chapters. Events like Sangram were famous, you could avail scholarships from government.
