It is the best college for graduation in Mumbai.

Placements: There is a placement cell in Sophia College, which conducts placements for the students irrespective of their fields. The top roles that were offered in these internships were mainly digital marketing, HR, and many more. A lot of well-known recruiting companies, as well as well known NGOs, visit the campus. Many graduates from our college were able to get placements in these companies. Most of them were paid internships. Placement cell is very dedicated to their work and would also be used to follow up with their work.

Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with the latest technologies, There is a huge library which has books for all fields and the faculty is also cooperative. Classrooms are neat and wide. There are blackboards and some classrooms are equipped with digital boards. The hostel admission is provided based on your marks overall the year. There are is limited seats for the hostel, so it is based on a first come first basis.

Faculty: Faculty members of Arts, B.M.M and Science are well qualified and are always dedicated to their students. As the college is autonomous the syllabus is a little different what is prescribed by Mumbai University. The syllabus is structured in such a manner that students get theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the subject.

Overall, amazing college with amazing opportunities if you are willing to take them up.

Placements: Sophia College has an amazing placement cell, which provides with job and internship opportunities for students of all years. They also conduct various resume-building workshops which helps a lot for better placement chances. They have partnered with various MNCs and domestic companies.

Infrastructure: Former palace turned college has a very beautiful architectural style. It's almost unbelievable that such a beautiful college is right in the middle of a concrete jungle. Every possible service is provided in the campus itself, ranging from canteen to counselling center.

Faculty: The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and very student friendly. The pass percentage is above average. Every year the department conducts skill-developing courses for the students which are very informative. But the competition is extremely high and the college pressurizes it's students a lot.

The college life at Sophia College is the best.

Placements: There is a placement cell which offers many internships and volunteer opportunities. It has started recently. Many internships are offered with roles like a content writer, HR and social media marketing roles in various companies. Some of them are top companies.

Infrastructure: Our campus is beautiful, with excellent infrastructure and canteen. It is probably the best canteen in Mumbai. You will never feel bored at any time as always different and interesting events are organised every day. There is a vast library with a huge and varied collection of books. Many rare books which are not found in many places are available in our library which you need to look into during your assignments and projects. Many sports are available. There are many places to hang out with friends around the campus, be it a vast central lawn, marble steps, triangular terrace and a canteen. The college is lush green with a lot of fresh air and a relaxing atmosphere.

Faculty: Our college has great faculty members and course curriculum. But the course curriculum is tough to score good marks in exams as the papers are entirely knowledge and application-based. Students are not able to pass unless they attend classes every day and study regularly. Only the academically top students are promoted for the next year as our college wants the best quality students to be graduated from it. Students who fail will always probably fail even in their ATKT papers until they become the top student and can do well. Attendance is also a crucial factor here. Unless students have the required percentage of attendance which is pretty high, they are not able to attend any of the exams, so they get failed in them. Hence, they have to study a year again. Our college is strict about attendance.

Other: Kaleidoscope is one of the biggest inter-college fests in Mumbai, which is organised in Sophia College.

Sophia College for Women always work towards its goals and successfully achieve it.

Placements: I did my B.A in history, and there were 30 students in our course during our tenure. To join in this course, we need to have at least a B grade in our academics. History students opted for museum work or became teachers, or most of them further opted for PG.

Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure and developed classrooms. Some classrooms are equipped with projectors. The library consists of almost all the books which we required in our course. There was good hostel and canteen facilities as well. The hostel infrastructure is excellent, and also the canteen has a variety of food options.

Faculty: Professors here were highly educated and informative as well. They connected the classroom study to the real world. They made us use the events conducted around the world. Teachers also guide you outside the classroom if you have any issue regarding the topic of the subject.

Other: This course is good for students who are interested in the subject and can connect it to the present scenario. It also helps especially students who are going to choose teaching as their profession and also want to be a curator of a museum. Kaleidoscope or K-scope organised in our college is the best fest, and you can attend. It has a variety of options like from literary arts to performing arts.

Beautiful, serene, calm and good faculty and fellow students. High chances of growth.

Placements: The college doesn't have a personal placement cell but they do get recruiters from out who keep visiting and taking interviews and hiring candidates. Apart from this there is a notice board in the canteen where they have all the important notices and all the vacancies and placement centre list.

Infrastructure: The college has gym, Huge library, medical facilities, sports game room, huge garden and is located at a very calm and serene place. The infrastructure of the college is a decade old and highly promotes women's education and women's growth. The people around are very friendly. They have a huge canteen which serves various cuisines and hygienic. They also have a book centre, amazing collection of books in the library. Good computer centre, good auditorium and audio visual rooms there are 2 xerox centres in the premises and a book centre offering 2nd hand books when you complete your year you can return and get a half amount cash back which is amazing. The college has gym and the facilities and equipment is amazing. They also have huge garden and lots of greenery around the place. The Science building also has a laboratory and the people around the campus including peons have been working for years and are very helpful. There is a medical room in case of emergency. Clean and tidy washrooms. The classrooms are too amazing.

Faculty: The college has 2 buildings for Arts and Science students. There are 2 different faculty for arts and sciences. All the teachers are well trained, experienced with proper communication skills and helping. The teachers give the children various oppurtunites to grow and make learning interesting. They have amazing teachers who are always approachable and the Principal Dr (Sr. ) Ananda Amrithmahal is an amazing principal she teaches English Literature to the Arts students. She is versatile and multi talented. She always encourages people to attend various programmes and participate. The teachers here are selected not only to give knowledge and conduct exams but also help them in difficult situations.

Other: The campus is alive with various activities going on throughout the year. The peaceful fortnight, kaleidoscope and ananya are few events. A unique college festival is peaceful fornight where every club and association of the college participate focusing on the theme peace. Kaleidoscope- Is a very famous college festival unlike Andrews and Xaviers college festival the Sophia college festival attracts huge crowds. Its basically a festival organised by students and the planning and organisation involved in making kaleidoscope a success train students in team work and gives them various opportunities to display their abilities. Ananya - Ananya is an intercollegiate festival which focuses more on academic and social themes. A department wise action is drawn and plans are put in place or co-curricular activities and curriculum.
