Review of B.Tech Biotechnology at Easwari Engineering College.
Placements: Placements in core departments like biotechnology are comparatively lower than in IT departments. But there are still plenty of opportunities in the research field, pharmaceutical fields, food processing, healthcare, and quality assurance. Many students also choose higher studies after graduation at esteemed institutions.
Infrastructure: As a day-scholar with hosteler friends, I'm very much aware of our college hostel infrastructure and how safe it is. The laboratories for biotechnology are being established, and there are plenty of resources here for us to research, experiment, and learn.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. They make learning interesting and easier both through theory and practical sessions. Curriculum is curated with relevance to the department, and it helps students to get ready for the industry.
Other: Joining B.Tech Biotechnology at Easwari Engineering College was one of my best decisions, considering the faculty members, campus, and various opportunities to develop our ideas into startups, patenting, and many more. Campus life here is the most joyful experience for a student, with all the technical fests, cultural festivals, symposiums, and many more.

Satisfied with the campus, placements, and other opportunities.
Placements: The college provides a successful placement for 85% with top companies' recruitments. The college encourages students to take many internships, projects, and participate in hackathons. We have so many opportunities that help us develop more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, with well-developed classrooms, labs, and a library. The college has a good Wi-Fi connection. It also has sports facilities and research labs. Since I am a Biotechnology student, I find the research labs very useful. The transport facility is also helpful.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and encouraging. They provide a well-versed curriculum that makes students industry-ready. They help us prepare for competitions and exams. They also conduct seminars and chart work activities to help students understand concepts clearly.
Other: I am a B.Tech Biotechnology student. The college provides both curricular and extracurricular opportunities, making campus life better.

The campus facilities meet the necessary academic needs.
Placements: Since our batch is the first from this department, placement outcomes are not yet available. Even though students are encouraged to focus on skill development and internships alongside academics. However, the college is actively developing its placement cell and connections.
Infrastructure: The department is equipped with basic academic infrastructure. Laboratories are available and are gradually being upgraded as the department is relatively new. The quality of the food in the canteen is good and the hygiene is good. The institution encourages students to take part in extracurricular and curricular activities too.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive, too. The curriculum is structured well and covers all the fundamentals and necessary concepts required for the course. The exams are actually conducted as per the college norms, it is neither very easy nor extremely difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested and its scope for future opportunities. As the department is in its early stages, it should improve laboratory facilities and core placement-related training. This college organizes one of the best and finest campus fests and events.

Good infrastructure and growing opportunities. Supportive faculty and positive campus experience.
Placements: As we are the first batch, we are not well aware of the placements in our department, but in reviewing the overall college-wide placements, the other departments have 75-80 percent of the students placed in the top-most companies. The placement opportunities for our course are still developing, but the faculty support, exposure, and training are excellent. We're confident that in the coming years, Biotechnology will also achieve strong placement results similar to other departments in the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Biotechnology department is well-developed and constantly improving. The department has well-developed and well-equipped laboratories for microbiology, cell biology, etc. Classrooms are spacious and have well-facilitated Wi-Fi all over the campus. The hostel's facilities are quite good and comfortable. Rooms are clean and maintained regularly, and basics like Wi-Fi, laundry, and study areas are available. The mess food is decent, with both veg and non-vegetarian options, and the canteen serves hygienic snacks at affordable prices.
Faculty: The faculty members are very supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable. All the faculty members are well-qualified with postgraduate or doctoral degrees in biotechnology and related fields. To explain the concepts clearly, give personal attention to students, and also guide them in projects, research works, and internships. The curriculum is well-structured and updated, covering both core and advanced topics. The semester exams are moderate in difficulty, students who attend the classes regularly and study consistently can easily clear them. The pass percentage is above 5CGPA.
Other: There are many extracurricular classes present in our college. As I am in the first batch of biotechnology, my experience so far has been very positive. I chose this course because I've always been interested in life sciences and research. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse, and there's a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities. Overall, the experience in this college is motivating and enjoyable.

Excellent college with a good learning environment.
Placements: Placement rate is about 90 percent with 50 LPA. Some of the top recruiters for this course are companies named Biocon, R&D/pharma firms. Top roles offered for this course are research assistant, quality control analyst, and clinical research coordinator.
Infrastructure: The canteen offers a better variety with reasonable prices, there is a fixed menu, and the quality is quite consistent. Sports and games are provided with excellent infrastructure, equipment availability is decent, and overall supportive. Medical facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in their subject. The curriculum is aligned with the university syllabus and covers the foundation of the subject. Semester exams are moderately easy and difficult. Overall, the pass percentage is generally high.
Other: I chose this course because I am genuinely interested and want to build a strong foundation. I get practical exposure through labs and helpful faculty. To improve, they conduct workshops and guest lectures.

Campus vibes were unlocked.
Placements: Mostly, those with above 8 CGPA got placements and internships first. The highest package is about 22 LPA, the average package is 6-8 LPA, and 4 LPA is the lowest package offered. Biocon, L&T Solutions, R&D, and Siemens are the top recruiting companies. The students with good skills and better percentages got internship offers from Siemens and some pharmaceutical companies.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi in the library, auditorium, etc., and laboratories are maintained well with all necessary equipment; there are sufficient labs here. Classrooms have comfortable furniture with projectors and necessary screens. Restrooms are maintained well. In the hostel, food available in the mess and canteen is tasty, hygienic, and healthy. Medical emergencies are treated by a nearby hospital. Encouragement in sports and games is better than in other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, well-treated, and all the teachers are Ph.D. scholars, so their teaching quality is the best. The curriculum of the course is most relevant, which also helps in preparing for competitive exams like GATE and DBT. They give support for UPSC exams, and alumni talks help a lot. Semester exams are a little difficult; in that way, college supports students via internals through assessment tests. The pass grade is above 5 CGPA.
Other: This course is best for those who are interested in the research field. Weekly events and monthly events help students collaborate with other departments and connect with students from different years. There is no ragging on the campus, and the campus is eco-friendly, planted with many trees. Many scholarships are offered in the college based on category, grade, and income. Many extracurricular activities are offered, such as club activities, participating in events, sports, etc.
