Easwari Engineering College is a scope for the people who can concentrate easily.

Placements: About 50% of the students in the Mechanical Engineering program get placed in companies, with 10% getting a higher package in core companies. The highest paid package for this year (2024) is 7 LPA. There are many companies that recruit from our college, including Wipro, Land T, Mahindra, Tata, and a few Japanese companies that offer on-site opportunities as well.

Infrastructure: Every classroom has an LCD projector and smart board for curriculum delivery. Students are often taken to the lab for practicals. The library is very clean and well maintained by the library in-charge faculty members. Each class has its own coordinator for any clarification or purpose.

Faculty: All of the teachers here have a doctorate in their field, which makes for better teaching skills. The courses are based on the GATE coaching syllabus, and they also offer coaching for higher studies. Placements are good too.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering as my major because I want to work in the core mechanical industry. The college also provides opportunities to learn a foreign language, which can help with higher studies or job placement.

College is excellent, placements are good, and the infrastructure is commendable.

Placements: Approximately eight percent of students got placed, with the highest package being 7 LPA and the lowest being 3 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiter. Many students secured internships, with roles such as design engineer and safety engineer being essential.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are helpful, and the infrastructure is neat and clean, surrounded by trees, creating a pleasant environment. The library and canteen are good, offering affordable food. The sports facilities, including volleyball, are commendable, although the crowd is high.

Faculty: The teachers, with qualifications including master's degrees and doctorates, are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relatable, making students industry-ready, and practical classes are a highlight. Semester exams are challenging but manageable with proper study.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in mechanical terms, considering it the mother of engineering. Practical classes are the best part of our course. More labs and additional applicants would be helpful. Events occur frequently, and scholarships are available.

Nice environment and good infrastructure .

Placements: 70 percent of students got placed. Few of them got arrears so they didn't get placement. 15 lakhs per annum is the highest package and 3 lakhs per annum is the lowest. Larsen and Toubro is the top recruiting company. 20 percent of students get internships. The top role offered is that of manager.

Infrastructure: Laboratory facilities are very good and classrooms are also very neat. The library also contains many books and seating areas. Some bathrooms aren't very hygienic. Food in the canteen is good and affordable; sports are also good, but big grounds for playing football and cricket are not available.

Faculty: Teaching is helpful here, and they are well qualified. Yes, the students are industry-ready. By taking the students to the industrial visit, they got to know how things work. Yes, exams are quite tough and 70% is the pass percentage. Few students got single arrears.

Other: Mechanical is the basics so the scope for mechanical is very high. A lot more practical sessions should be done. Events are very good out here.

It is a great college if you are fine with the rules of Anna University.

Placements: Almost all students at the college get placed. Many companies from the core industries recruit students here. The roles offered may vary from entry-level to even higher management positions, but they depend on our academic performance. The highest salary package offered is around 45 LPA, and the average is around 4 LPA to 10 LPA, depending on the industry and our performance. The college is willing to help you to get internships at local companies and even abroad.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided are not great, but they are adequate for their purpose. Some labs are better than others, depending on your department. The classrooms are average and not that impressive. They are acceptable, but not the best that can be offered. The quality of food in the main canteen is good. It is too small for the three institutes, i.e., SRM EEC, SRM IST, and SRM Dental College. Getting food can take a long time, and often you might not have enough time to finish eating during the break.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful if you have any doubts. They are very interested in teaching. A student who has difficulty learning will definitely benefit from them. However, for students who can learn by themselves without difficulty, classes cannot be useful at times. Mandatory attendance is very time-consuming. The curriculum for first-year is common to all engineering departments. From the second year onward, students learn subjects specifically relevant to their departments and can even choose classes in other departments as their electives. The semester exams are not too difficult. They are manageable if you study for your internal exams and study before the external exams. The pass percentage is arbitrary.

SRM Easwari engineering college is absolutely good engineering college.

Placements: SRM Easwari engineering college is best engineering college. This college placement results are very good. This college conduct more placement classes. So, all students easily passed the campus interview. The salary packages is 20000-100000 lakhs per month.

Infrastructure: This college is a very big engineering college. The infrastructure is awesome. This college has more courses. More departments are available in this college. More laboratory and library specialty are available. Hostel and canteen are also available. Food is hygienic and healthy.

Faculty: The teachers are very intelligent; they have completed their master's degrees and Ph.D. So, they are more experienced. Their teaching quality is very good, it is understandable, so all students can easily pass in the exams. Every semester, they arrange industry visit programs etc.

Other: This college give more scholarships. This college conducts department functions and sports events.

I am dissatisfied with the quality of teaching for the money they charge.

Placements: I am still in the third year, and placements have just started. I do know about the details of the senior batch that passed out before our batch. Around 90% of the students got placed. Byju's company hired students with the highest package of 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies from the IT industry like TCS, CTS, Accenture and Zoho visit our college for placements. I do not know much about mechanical industries. I think none of the students got placed in any mechanical company. We went out to do an internship and implement training in some small scale industries. I do not know much about mechanical companies, so I do not know about top roles offered to the students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms have projectors for presentation purposes, but we rarely used them. I think our college has many sorts of labs for various purposes and a library. I stayed in the hostel, and the quality of the hostel and the food served is very poor considering the amount they charge from us. The college canteen is good. There is a hospital inside the campus. There is no much encouragement in sports and games in our college. There is a basketball ground on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. I think most of the staff members are qualified, and some teachers are doing research. They tend to teach what is given in the syllabus, which is a disadvantage since it reduces the quality of the teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is not taught in the right way, so it does not provide any practical knowledge for students. Most of the students does not become industry-ready. When our college was under Anna University, the standard of the question paper was high and getting marks was tough. Now, it is an autonomous institution, so the difficulty reduces and the pass percentage increases. Almost all students pass the exams. The pass percentage is 100%.

Other: I was more attracted to physics and rocketry science, so I have chosen this course. The science behind every manufacturable object is so fascinating to learn, and it is one of the best things to learn in this course. I think it would be better to provide more practical knowledge of what we are learning in theory, so students get interested and do the things they like. The college atmosphere is good. Our college conducts various events and fests. It does not conduct many extracurricular activities since our college is studious. Many of my seniors are Anna University gold medalists in their respective departments.

Infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: In our course, 90% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. For our course, mechanical and also IT companies come to recruit us. Many students get internship opportunities, but they all are not utilising it in a proper way.

Infrastructure: We have free Wi-Fi on our campus. The library is available all the time, and we can make use of it whenever we want to learn. A digital library is also available. The food is tasty as home food, but I didn't taste non-vegetarian food.

Faculty: Our department staff members are very friendly and resourceful. They helped us in both academics and personal life guidance. Their teaching way is very different and quite interesting. We often have a practical class to practice our theoretical concepts.

Other: From my schooling, I wish to learn mechanical subject and how the machines work, so I have chosen this course.

Easwari: A decent Engineering College within Chennai.

Placements: Most of the placements that comes to the campus are related to IT. Some of the mechanical companies do come to the campus. But their intake is less when compared to IT. Nearly 90% of them got placed in our batch. Companies that visit our campus are TCS, Wipro, Byjus etc.

Infrastructure: The main advantage is the campus is within Chennai. So the commuting time will be decreased. The infrastructures are good, we have good central library as well. Labs are also in a good condition. Mechanical Lab needs some re-work, hope they had done some changes.

Faculty: We have followed the Anna University curriculum upto 2018, Now the college changed now to autonomous. During our college days, staffs were good and knowledgeable and the curriculum was rigorous to meet the industry expectation. Here most of the teachers have done their ME from one of the top Engineering colleges from TamilNadu. Nearly 60% of them are currently pursuing their Ph.D.
