Easwari Engineering College is a scope for the people who can concentrate easily.

Placements: About 50% of the students in the Mechanical Engineering program get placed in companies, with 10% getting a higher package in core companies. The highest paid package for this year (2024) is 7 LPA. There are many companies that recruit from our college, including Wipro, Land T, Mahindra, Tata, and a few Japanese companies that offer on-site opportunities as well.

Infrastructure: Every classroom has an LCD projector and smart board for curriculum delivery. Students are often taken to the lab for practicals. The library is very clean and well maintained by the library in-charge faculty members. Each class has its own coordinator for any clarification or purpose.

Faculty: All of the teachers here have a doctorate in their field, which makes for better teaching skills. The courses are based on the GATE coaching syllabus, and they also offer coaching for higher studies. Placements are good too.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering as my major because I want to work in the core mechanical industry. The college also provides opportunities to learn a foreign language, which can help with higher studies or job placement.

College is excellent, placements are good, and the infrastructure is commendable.

Placements: Approximately eight percent of students got placed, with the highest package being 7 LPA and the lowest being 3 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiter. Many students secured internships, with roles such as design engineer and safety engineer being essential.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are helpful, and the infrastructure is neat and clean, surrounded by trees, creating a pleasant environment. The library and canteen are good, offering affordable food. The sports facilities, including volleyball, are commendable, although the crowd is high.

Faculty: The teachers, with qualifications including master's degrees and doctorates, are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relatable, making students industry-ready, and practical classes are a highlight. Semester exams are challenging but manageable with proper study.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in mechanical terms, considering it the mother of engineering. Practical classes are the best part of our course. More labs and additional applicants would be helpful. Events occur frequently, and scholarships are available.

Nice environment and good infrastructure .

Placements: 70 percent of students got placed. Few of them got arrears so they didn't get placement. 15 lakhs per annum is the highest package and 3 lakhs per annum is the lowest. Larsen and Toubro is the top recruiting company. 20 percent of students get internships. The top role offered is that of manager.

Infrastructure: Laboratory facilities are very good and classrooms are also very neat. The library also contains many books and seating areas. Some bathrooms aren't very hygienic. Food in the canteen is good and affordable; sports are also good, but big grounds for playing football and cricket are not available.

Faculty: Teaching is helpful here, and they are well qualified. Yes, the students are industry-ready. By taking the students to the industrial visit, they got to know how things work. Yes, exams are quite tough and 70% is the pass percentage. Few students got single arrears.

Other: Mechanical is the basics so the scope for mechanical is very high. A lot more practical sessions should be done. Events are very good out here.

It is a great college if you are fine with the rules of Anna University.

Placements: Almost all students at the college get placed. Many companies from the core industries recruit students here. The roles offered may vary from entry-level to even higher management positions, but they depend on our academic performance. The highest salary package offered is around 45 LPA, and the average is around 4 LPA to 10 LPA, depending on the industry and our performance. The college is willing to help you to get internships at local companies and even abroad.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided are not great, but they are adequate for their purpose. Some labs are better than others, depending on your department. The classrooms are average and not that impressive. They are acceptable, but not the best that can be offered. The quality of food in the main canteen is good. It is too small for the three institutes, i.e., SRM EEC, SRM IST, and SRM Dental College. Getting food can take a long time, and often you might not have enough time to finish eating during the break.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful if you have any doubts. They are very interested in teaching. A student who has difficulty learning will definitely benefit from them. However, for students who can learn by themselves without difficulty, classes cannot be useful at times. Mandatory attendance is very time-consuming. The curriculum for first-year is common to all engineering departments. From the second year onward, students learn subjects specifically relevant to their departments and can even choose classes in other departments as their electives. The semester exams are not too difficult. They are manageable if you study for your internal exams and study before the external exams. The pass percentage is arbitrary.

Infrastructure: This college is a very big engineering college. The infrastructure is awesome. This college has more courses. More departments are available in this college. More laboratory and library specialty are available. Hostel and canteen are also available. Food is hygienic and healthy.
