Placements: As a B.E. EEE student from Easwari Engineering College, in my batch of 2022, approximately 70% of students were placed with a higher package of 10 LPA, the lowest package of 3.5 LPA, and an average of 4.5-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, L&T Tech Services, and Cognizant. Around 60-70 percent of students secured internships in reputed organizations like the Airport Authority of India, Ashok Leyland, TCS, Indian Railways and other startups through college collaborations.

Infrastructure: EEC offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a comprehensive library. The hostel provides clean rooms with Wi-Fi, quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals in the mess, and a canteen for snacks. Medical facilities include a first aid center and tie-ups with nearby hospitals. Sports amenities include cricket, football, basketball, badminton, indoor games, and a gym.

Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable, ensuring effective teaching with practical insights. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to align with industry equipment, focusing on core concepts and emerging technologies, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging but manageable with consistent preparation, and the pass percentage is around 85-90 percent reflecting the supportive academic environment.

Other: EEC's electrical and electronics engineering branch balances theoretical and practical learning in every course offered. The best aspects of the college are its excellent lab facilities and industry-oriented learning. These advanced and interdisciplinary projects could further enhance learning. The campus crowd is diverse, provides many clubs, and promotes extracurricular activities.

I am absolutely satisfied with the placements of this college.

Placements: Easwari Engineering College is the best option for both academics and placements. Some top-class companies like Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, and Byjus visit our campus for placements. According to this college, TCS and Infosys are the mass recruiters. From the first year itself, the students are trained with placement training sessions which are taken by the experienced staff. For the 2nd, 3rd, and final years, mock tests will be conducted in order to get ready for their placements. Every department is maintaining a good placement record. Special placement sessions will be conducted in the 7th semester. The placements are also good in our college.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped computer laboratories with 1200 highly configured terminals. We have well-established circuits and machines laboratories with modern equipment. Laboratories are regularly updated and upgraded to cater to the students' needs. We have Wi-Fi enabled campus for continual preparations, smartboard classrooms where teaching becomes digitised, and OHP projectors and LCD projectors available for classroom lectures. Internet facility with 45 Mbps bandwidth is also available.

Faculty: All the department staff members are student-friendly and helping-minded. They are well-trained and knowledgeable persons only. From this year, the rules are changed. There is no daily class test but you will have the unit test after the completion of every unit. You need to score 65/100 or 16.5/25. If you get failed in any of the tests, you need to stay back till 5 PM for the special classes. You have a test every day from 8 am to 9 am. Your internal marks depend on these weekly tests and cycle tests. The teachers are friendly and approachable. They will help you with your studies and projects. The only thing you need to do is ask.

Other: They charge much amount of books and equipment fees. You should wear only a formal dress. Cellphones are not allowed but this rule is not followed properly. My advice is to not use a cellphone during class hours. If you bunk the classes, the class coordinator will call your parents which happens most of the time. If you follow these rules, it is a great place to do your engineering.

It is one of the best Anna University affiliated colleges, and it is now autonomous.

Placements: Close to 95% of the students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered on-campus is 3 LPA. Some good core roles, though on the tech side, were offered by VVDN Tech and EmbedUR. Zoho's offer had the highest demand, and TCS was the mass recruiter.

Infrastructure: The institute is located in a prime part of the city with good travel access and has very good infrastructure with excellent and well-equipped laboratories. The canteen for our batch was newly constructed, and nostalgia beckoned the old canteen. The library is fully stocked with quality books. I have not been to hostels, but I have never heard complaints about the facilities from students residing in the hostel.

Faculty: Professors were highly qualified, and they were very helpful to clear doubts and provide general guidance. Almost 40% of the batch continued studying further in the same field, either in India or abroad. In a batch of 120, 40 students have easily gone on to do MS or ME abroad from California to Melbourne.

It has good placements but average facilities. Students have to pay more money for everything.

Placements: Almost all students got placed. Placements were taken very seriously, and the placement training starts from the first semester. The salary package offered is 2 LPA to 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS and Wipro. Top roles offered to the students are software engineer, embedded hardware engineer and power system engineer.

Infrastructure: The library was good. Classrooms were somewhat spacious, but labs were average. Labs are usually filled with things that are already broken. Fees were collected from students if they didn't notice if things were already broken. There was no modern infrastructure in classrooms. There are no sports facilities except a volleyball court and a small cricket pitch. I was a day scholar.

Faculty: Teaching was average. However, the ultimate aim of students was a university rank and not an engineering education. The course curriculum is average, and semester exams are unpredictable. Correction in semester exams is at best unstable and at the worst. However, our college can't do anything as exams were conducted by Anna University.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was interested in a course that can lead me to electronics and computer science with a strong foundation. The best thing about the course is the number of different paths that are available to students. I wish the curriculum could have included a CS path. There was no freedom to choose electives that were of any use. I would wish that there were some realistic opportunities to pursue some useful electives. Events were the best in our college. The campus is crowded compared to other campuses. There were no opportunities for students in most of the extracurricular activities unless they resulted in a university rank.

It is a good place to learn and enjoy college life.

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed from our course. Most of them got placed in MNCs. The highest salary package offered was about 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 2.8 LPA. TCS, Infosys and Wipro are the top recruiting companies. Zoho offered internships. Software engineer in Zoho is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: Labs and library facilities were good here, but there was no Wi-Fi. Classrooms were spacious and well maintained. Hostels were good, and the food served was not very bad. There was no sports ground, but the teams were competitive enough to participate in inter-college tournaments.

Faculty: The teachers here were knowledgeable and had maintained high interaction with all the students. Most of the teachers were friendly and have helped students to excel in both academics and extracurricular activities. The course curriculum was relevant to the industry, and the teachers try their best to improve students.

Other: Our college is liberal and not very strict compared to other colleges. Students have more freedom to choose what is best for them. They get support from teachers and non-teaching staff members. Events, programs and other activities were encouraged.
