B.E. in Information Technology - Batch of 2023
3.4
Infrastructure of this college is average .
Placements: 10-20 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest package was 4 LPA. Companies like Tata Consultancy, etc., were the recruiting companies in my college during the placements; there were no internships.
Infrastructure: Everything was very good, and it would not be perfect to say that these things and features were very fine, but yes, it was average just like any other government colleges across the country. There are few more good colleges in this same budget as this college offers.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, leaving a bunch of teachers that are always behind your *** for being personal anger. Rest is fine as you would expect from a college in this budget. The college canteen is superb and very affordable; every food item is under a hundred rupees.
Other: Everything is fine do not worry.

I am absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: The highest salary package offered off campus is 42 LPA and the average salary package is 5 LPA. More than 600 placement offers were provided this year in which more than 160 students got placed with a salary package of 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Mass recruiting company is TCS.
Infrastructure: It is a very good college that provides free Wi-Fi with very high-speed up to 100 Mbps. Food served in the canteen is good and non-vegetarian food is served.
Faculty: Semester exams are good if students study. The pass percentage is 40%. Teachers in our college are very helpful, well qualified, approachable, and helpful. Question papers are not much difficult.
Other: I chose this course as IT is an aggregate with NBA in this college. IT branch and its faculty members are very good.

Review of St. Francis Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, LTI, etc. Internships are offered to the students simultaneously. The top role offered by the company is software developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure available for our courses are Wi-Fi, laboratories, classrooms, gymkhana, etc. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also fine. The medical facilities, sports, and games are satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum in this course is very relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The exams during each of the semesters are easy. The passing percentage is 35% approximately.

I'm absolutely satisfied because of teachers, good placements in 2021 and really good facilities.
Placements: There were 70 students in 1 class. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Many companies visited our college like Capgemini, LTI, TCS, Feedspot, Accenture and many more. Many students were selected for internships and were getting good learning opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have Wi-Fi for students to use, but labs are well cleaned and organised. Courses offered here are well placed. There are many departments like information technology, computer engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics and telecommunication as well.
Faculty: The teachers here were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was really good and up to the mark. All the faculty members were very much easy to interact with. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready as well for a long period.

The campus crowd and placements are perfect, and the college is value for money.
Placements: 80% and above students from CSE got placed. IIT Bombay also offers programs in aerospace, biosciences, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical etc. Candidates applying for B.Tech in CSE must score between 2-66 in the JEE Advanced exam, and candidates applying for IIT Bombay M.Tech CSE programme must score 750 in the GATE for admission.
Infrastructure: 2 buildings are present on campus. The infrastructure is good. I graduated from a recognised university in the relevant stream. B.Tech CSE has the 2nd closing rank of 66. The average salary package for CSE students is 20 LPA, and the placement rate is 100%. The top recruiting companies for B.Tech CSE are Goldman Sachs, IBM, Qualcomm, Tata Steel, EC Japan, Microsoft, Rubrik etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and determined. They are excellent faculty, with 99.82% of them holding a PhD in their relevant fields. The student to faculty ratio at IIT Bombay is 10:1. Some of the professors have their Wikipedia pages. They are very useful and informative.

Our college is not the best or not that bad.
Placements: Companies which visit our college for placements are good. The salary packages offered are average. Approximately 80% of the students got placed. Top recruiting companies for our college are LTI, Adventure, Wipro, TCS, etc. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Roles offered were support and sales developers.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good labs, good classrooms and limited elevators. The canteen is bad, but sports and games facilities are good. The food served in the canteens was bad, and facilities were not that good either. However, labs and classrooms were adequate, and the rest of the infrastructure was also good. There is only one elevator for students, which provides chaos in the morning time.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers in our college is good. Some teachers had a good knowledge of the subject, but some didn't have time for some of the subjects. However, overall, I had a good experience. A very few things which we learned were able to apply in jobs. So, the course curriculum needs to change by including more practical scenario.
Other: Rules are very strict for a degree course. Teachers are very good. Cultural activities conducted are also very good here.

It is a good college with a lush green campus.
Placements: The placement cell of our college has improved a lot. Almost 70% to 80% of the students have been placed from the IT and the computer department. The percentage of students got placed from the electronics department is less compared to the IT and the computer department. Many companies like TCS, LTI, Byju's, etc., recruited students from our college. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Some companies conduct coding tests for placements, and when you clear all the tests, they offer a salary package ranges from 10 LPA to 15 LPA. The placement training provided for students could have been better. I suggest that our college should focus more on technical training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and the classrooms are huge and spacious. All the books are available in the library. There are different labs for different subjects which are also spacious and kept clean. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good, but you won't get a lot of food choices as there are limited options. There is a medical room with a bed, and medicines are provided here. You will find a volleyball court, badminton court and basketball court but the area is not very spacious.
Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified, and some of the teachers have done a PhD. Their teaching is good, and few teachers are very friendly. Some students faced difficulty when teachers had a different accent. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Theory knowledge is provided, and they should also teach how to apply them practically in a better way. Things which are taught and things are done at the workplace are different.
Other: According to the changing technology, IT people have much demand, so IT is a good choice. In this course, you will get to learn a lot of things and develop something for the betterment of society. I suggest that our college should provide more practical subjects and less theory subjects in our course. The fest organised here was good, but it could have been better if the college permits. There are pre-fest days and sports. Our college encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities but not to a great extend. The campus is full of trees and plants, which makes it very beautiful. Scholarships are also provided to students.

A college where a student not only gains technical knowledge but also grows into a better person.
Placements: Nearly 70-80 percent of the students were placed but around 40% of them were placed in two or more companies. The highest salary offered was 14 Lacs and average would be 3.5 Lacs, which most of the students got. The top recruiting company was LTI which offered jobs to above 175 students, followed by TCS and then probably Media Dot Net.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was not that great but we had a campus which was bigger than 90% of the colleges in Mumbai. The classrooms were good enough to occupy 80 students but there were no ACs which would cause a lot of suffocation during the hot summer days. The library was good enough. The labs could have been better and comfortable with better systems. The canteen was the worst part of the college and the food options were minimum.
Faculty: Some of the teachers were good and knowledgeable but most of the new teachers lacked up-to-date technical knowledge. Even some of the senior faculty lacked knowledge about the modern technology and were only content with the technology they've been teaching since ages. Most of the course curriculum was irrelevant for our batch at least but with the changes in the new curriculum, the future batches are taught some of the newer technologies and programming languages but the course still needs to be more up-to-date.
Other: I chose the course because the industry demands IT/Computer knowledge. The course does try to give you a basic ground-level knowledge but still, the course should be modified in such a way that all the extra unwanted chapters/subjects should be removed or made optional and chapters/subjects about newer technologies should be made compulsory. The annual fest has been improving every passing year and the crowd turn up is also improving. The college should work on giving scholarships to more students. The college did help me in improving my personality and it's not just mine but also many others.
