SVNIT Surat Course Admissions 2025: Application Process, Eligibility, Courses & Fee

The average package that the SVNIT BTech students secured in 2020, 2021 and 2022 are INR 13.32 LPA, INR 14.18 LPA and INR 15.22 LPA respectively. And the total tuition fee for BTech at SVNIT is INR 5 lakh. Considering the total tuition fee and the package secured this seems like a good return on investment. National Institute of Technology is well reputed for MSc in Physics. Strong academic programmes and faculty from various well experience backgrounds make the college popular among studnts. Candidates, who have completed their last qualifying examination with a minimum eligibility aggregate set by the institute, can apply for admission. Open the official website. 
Click on the “JEE Main Registration” link. 
Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration. After the completion of JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and message in their registered email ID and mobile phone number with details of the application form number and password. Candidates will need to keep safe/save the details of registration. 
After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form. In this step, candidates have to provide details of educational qualifications, parents' details, address of communication and permanent address, and exam centre preference.
 Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature.
Pay the application fee.
The application form will be automatically submitted after successfully paying the application fees. Candidates need to download the filled application form and take its printout. It is advised that candidates keep safe the print copy of the application form until the completion of the admission process.
Selection/ Shortlisting of candidates

All the candidates seeking admission to all the courses is entrance exam-based. Scores of national/state-level exams like JEE Main, GATE, and UGC NET are considered for admission to various courses.

Payment of Admission Fee & Admission Confirmation

Candidates selected for various courses need to pay the course's admission fee to confirm their admission.

 No, candidates can't take admission at SVNIT, based on the GUJCET score. They need to take JEE Mains exam and get a good score to secure a seat at SVNIT Surat. The 2022 CSAB closing round for BTech CSE was 7807, which was competitive.  

There are 12 departments at SVNIT Surat namely, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics and Humanities, Mechanical Engineering and Physics. The department of Computer Science also has research areas such as Data Science, Information Extraction, Text Embedding, Big Data Analytics, Data Mining, Deep Learning, Imbalance Data Mining, Machine Learning and Recommendation Systems.
