Placements: I am B.Tech 2nd year student in the Department of Civil Engineering at SVNIT, Surat. Placement ratio is about 57 percent. Girls placement ratio is more than the boys. Top companies include Cem India. Top roles offered by the course are construction and building management, planning etc.
Placements: In my course (Civil), placements are quite decent. It is around 50 to 60 percent in recent years. The highest placement is 16 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA, while the average salary is 6.8 LPA. Overall, placements are good. Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Adani Group, and Reliance Industries are among the top recruiters, but they generally don’t offer more than 8-9 LPA. Top roles include site engineer, executive engineer, and junior project manager.
Placements: I am a student of Electronics and Communication Engineering department. In our batch, till now around 50-60 percent students got placed. The highest package is around 40 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Apple, Meesho, Oracle, ZS Associates, and around 20-30 percent, students got internship. Roles offered are software side only like frontend developer, backend engineer, AI/ML engineer.
Placements: The overall placement of college is good, M.Sc. courses, placement is 50% and the average is about 7.5 to 8.5LPA, and while B.Tech courses offer more placement records, but the core branches and the M.Sc. courses grab almost the same.
Placements: Around 75% students are placed this year in my course. The highest package is 36.42 LPA, the lowest is 3.30 LPA, and the average is 10.25 LPA. Top Recruiting companies for my course are Siemens, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Mercedes-Benz, and Bharat Petroleum, alongside prominent IT and consulting firms such as Amazon, Qualcomm, Intel, Deloitte, TCS, and Infosys. Placements: The placement rate is around 75%. It includes both on-campus and off-campus opportunities. The highest package currently is 12 LPA. But this year, a student secured a 75 LPA package through an off-campus placement at Google. Almost everyone gets an internship by the third year, provided they’ve stayed consistent and haven’t made major mistakes. A wide variety of roles are offered, and it's up to each student to decide which role suits them best or is more valuable. Everyone has their own path.
