The college is top-notch choice if you want a balance of everything in life.
Placements: 89 percent of students were placed. The highest on-campus package is 21 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ZS and Infosys. 80 percent got internships. Top roles were SDE and analyst. There were well-recognized companies that visited our campus, and the placements were fine.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained, with a few having AC. Hostels are top-notch with all facilities and no restrictions. Hostel staff is also very good. The hostels are well maintained. There are too many hostels, and students have the choice to choose according to their needs.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, with very helpful coordinating staff. The course is relevant as per the top market. Semester exams are very difficult. Teachers have subject knowledge, and they teach very well. They also assist in projects and help the students. They give balanced marks.
Other: The course is provided on the basis of rank, and I only got this according to my rank. A lot of events happen in a year, including a yearly annual fest named Goonj.

Altogether a good option for a Tier-2/3 college in the growing phase.
Placements: In my course, around 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 22 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. The average package is around 8- 9 LPA. Top companies include ZS Associate, AMEX, Deloitte, KPMG, GreyB, TCS, Infosys, Policy Bazar, and ProgDNA. Most of the roles offered are in Data Analytics, and a few are in Software Development roles.
Infrastructure: Hostels are limited, and most of the students rent out flats or PG. The campus is lush green, and sporting facilities are available. Classrooms are big, and Wi-Fi is available 24/7 in hostels and colleges. Labs are fully air-conditioned and carry out DST-funded research and innovation. The library is also well maintained with a sufficient no of books, journals, and papers.
Faculty: Teachers are cooperative, but not all of them. Teaching is fair in terms of semester exams. Mostly PYQs are repeated, and the evaluation criteria are lenient. Curriculum is well-mapped with Tier-1 colleges and relevant. Students get ample time for other activities.
Other: Campus life is altogether good. Lush green campus and enough sporting facilities. Events are not that big or highlighted. Connectivity is good and in the heart of Chandigarh.

Somewhat disappointed due to hostel availability, I am happy to get a decent placement at just 95%.
Placements: I think 70 percent of students got placed last year, as I've heard from seniors. The highest on campus is 27 LPA, I think. Off campus, it is 35 LPA and maybe more than that. Placements are decent here according to the percentile. Median is 8 LPA according to seniors. Companies come for all sorts of roles, which can be expected from a college of this caliber.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good, but limited availability, so it kind of reduces the aura of the college. You've to be in the top 10 percent of your branch and category when you're taking admission through JEE. I don't know the exact states for every category. I don't know the exact states, but 15-16 from the general get permanent hostels, and 2 from the BC category.
Faculty: Teachers are decent. You go to college to get marks and a CGPA. You'll have to learn on your own if you want a decent package. But teachers are still decent. For most subjects, teachers are enough, I think. The curriculum is okay at best. Semester exams are easy.

Average in all aspects; the rest depends on the individual.
Placements: I am a student of the ECE department in UIET college, and looking at the placement of our senior batch 2021-2025, the placements went average with an average package of 8 LPA. There were companies for analytics roles, with the top company being ZS, but for the role of software engineer, the requirements of companies were very high and dynamic.
Infrastructure: We have one of the biggest libraries in North India, the AC Joshi Library. The labs are well-equipped and have ACs, but the classrooms don’t have AC. The college provides a password and username to access their Wi-Fi. Hostels are pretty average; the rooms are small, but they have a 24-hour canteen facility and one AC-fitted reading room. The mess food quality is just like any other hostel, nothing to expect much.
Faculty: Teachers are quite supportive, with a few exceptions. You have to be in touch with them to know about any projects, and if you want to work with them. The course, to be honest, is not on par with what the industry requires, but the attendance policy is not that strict; you can manage to get your time to work on skills. Semester exams are of average level; a prep of 10-15 days before the exam works (10-12 hours each day).

Best government college for droppers.
Placements: In IT and CS, there is 90% placement, while in ECE and Mechanical, the placements are decent. The highest package is 42 LPA. Students get internships in IITs and nearby industries. The main companies that come are Wipro, TCS, Mahindra, Airtel, and many more with good offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and facilities are top-notch from different IITs and other good institutions. Classrooms are decent, and Wi-Fi is available across the campus 24/7 with full network connectivity. The library has good infrastructure and all types of books are available 24/7. The food is good. There are many sports facilities and many grounds to play on.
Faculty: Faculty is good, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is relevant. This course does not make students industry-ready and just gives you a CGPA for your B.Tech degree. The semester exams are easy, and you can pass them easily.

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment of the center of the city of Chandigarh.
Placements: My brother who passed out in 2023 said that all the eligible students got placed in 2023. The highest package last year off campus was around 20 LPA by American Express which took around 2-3 students. It is the top recruiting company off-campus. Here we have to grab internships on our own without the help of college which is one of the drawbacks of college.
Infrastructure: Everything is average as per a government college. The hostel food is not so good but average. There are 8 hostels for boys and 10 for girls. There is an international hostel. The facility in an international hostel is very good. The fee there is Rs. 10,000 per month where as in 8 boys and 10 girls hostels, it is Rs. 1,000 per month with decent or average facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and hill. The quality as per my first year is good. The curriculum is kind and relevant. Semester exams are easy to crack studying just 1-2 days before exams and getting a decent CGPA. The pass percentage is 5 cg I. e 40 marks.
Other: I just wanted to pursue engineering in low money. It is a great choice for low-money students. I just want the infrastructure to become better. Most events occur here as just now an event named Goonj.

If you don't submit a particular document during admission, Principal/Director can admit you provisionally. In this case, admission will be confirmed only after you submit the required certificates and documents on the deadline given to you.
