Good faculty members. Placements are good and not fake compared to other colleges.
Placements: Nearly 50% of students got placed every year. Companies like BEL Schneider, technologies, etc., visit our college. The highest package is 18 LPA for the mechanical branch and the lowest or minimum package is 3 LPA-4 LPA. HCL and other companies also visit to our college.
Infrastructure: Our department is good with all labs, classrooms and a few classrooms with projector availability. Wi-Fi is also available in the department. The college hostel is good with a reasonable amount. Food is also tasty and good.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified with Ph.D. holders They have a high knowledge in their particular field. Many of the faculty members have been abroad and worked there and also published many research papers, and review papers and attended many national and international conferences.

This college is absolutely recommended.
Placements: University BDT College of Engineering, Davanagere is the best college to provide placements to students. Moreover, about 200 students are going to be selected based on their performance and other activities by the companies. This college is older than 70 years, and it has achieved a significant role in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it has to make some changes in the building. As the college is very old, the buildings are to be modified. Overall, the college has every facility which students need. The college has a basketball court.
Faculty: The faculty members of University BDT College of Engineering are very talented and experienced in their teaching skills. Most of the lecturers have experience of 25 years. They treat students as their first priority, and the semester exams are easy to attend.
Other: I recommend this college because of its placements, education, quality of every faculty member and their experience. University BDT College of Engineering has eight courses in BE. The most rated branches are mechanical, EEE, EC and CS&E.

Review of University B.D.T College of Engineering, Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Placements: About 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Companies like Tata, Microsoft, etc., visited our college for placements. I don't know the information about internships. Most of the students are offered roles in artificial intelligence.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not much good because it is a government college. The library is good which contains all types of books. The hostel is better, but the buildings are old. There is a new hostel for SC and ST students. Our college provides a canteen, medical facilities etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, and many of them are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is good. They take special classes and cover the syllabus in the given time. Our college has the senior most teachers.
Other: There are many events conducted in our college, like ethnic day, Chaitra etc.

Good college to study without much needed expenditure.
Placements: All eligible students with average above 6 CGPA were placed. Most had packages of 4-5 LPA. Internship was compulsory as part of the course, we had done ours at Bosch. All the students were asked to attend internship during 6th semester holidays. It was great as we had to experience the industry life and have insights about the industry standards and expectations.
Infrastructure: Labs were well furnished and library as well. All basic amenities were provided in the hostel. Canteen and food were not up to the mark. Hostels were crowded and not up to the mark. No Wi-Fi in campus. Sports activities were present and students to participate in various clubs.
Faculty: Faculty were good. The curriculum was completed on time. The syllabus was not as per the current industry requirements but is comprised of all the basic things we needed to know about our course. Most of the teachers were helpful and had decent knowledge about the subject.
Other: There were fests conducted regularly. We had interactions and various workshops were conducted on recent technologies.

I'm satisfied with the memories and placement opportunities provided by the college.
Placements: Placement opportunities in our college are very less compared to other private colleges as UBDT is a government college. But, the placement cell of our college will help you by referring you to other open campus interviews in different places. They provide you with information about placements in other colleges and help you to get placed in a good company.
Infrastructure: University BDT is one of the pioneer engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka. The infrastructure of our college was good but not completely modern. It has separate blocks for every major department and has subdivisions for the minor departments. The lab facilities were very good and modern equipment were available for everybody to perform experiments. The college has been declared as the only constituent college of VTU. Classrooms and labs were well-equipped. The library is one of the oldest which was established in 1951. The sports and games section in the college was
not very upgraded but has separate faculty members who help you during the university or other sports events. The college has a canteen which was not maintained well.
Faculty: All departments in the college have good faculty members with a doctorate and other designations along. Guest faculty members are also available to assist them, but sometimes, guest faculty members handled most of the course. The course curriculum is as per the syllabus prescribed by VTU, and it will be carried as the admissions are only through the CET, Karnataka. The student strength was not large as it is restricted to 60 students in the first year and is around 70 to 75 at the time of final year. Teachers used common teaching methods.
Other: An annual college festival called Chitra is conducted every year in April or May on the campus. It is one of the most popular festivals in the city. Along with that, the departmental fests like Techno Mania, Fallon Manithan and many others also organised in the college. The college is located in the center of the city and provides a good environment. All the government related scholarships were offered in the college.

The fees is 18,000 per annum if you are a general merit student (for SC, ST and OBC it's still less), and even hostel facilities are quite affordable i.e,10,000 per annum (excluding food).
