My college review UBDT College Davanagere.
Placements: Placement opportunity is very minimal. I attended 3 companies on campus, out of which I qualified in two. The package they offer is around 3 Lacs per annum. Students should also go for off-campus interviews as on-campus placements are very few in this college.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not that great as it is a government college. I believe it needs renovation or some improvement. The buildings are old, but not too bad. Quite good education. Decent infrastructure for UBDT Government Engineering College, Davanagere.
Faculty: Courses were as per syllabus. The faculty used to guide us as per the updated syllabus model. Study materials were provided by them. Semester exams were conducted as per schedule, and the evaluation process was really well and helpful for the main exams. Internal marks were also given very well.
Other: Fee structure is really impressive, decent education, and placement.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Many seniors got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.7 LPA. The highest salary package offered in other courses is 19 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 75% of students got placed in our college. Top companies like BHEL, Schneider, JSW, HP, L&T, TVS, Yokogawa, etc., visit our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college provides Wi-Fi. We have good labs. All classrooms are a bit old. A new building is under construction. It is good and spacious. The campus provides great infrastructure. The library is open 12X7. It is peaceful. The mess is not good. Our canteen is average. The old building is not good. A hospital is near our college. Our college provides good sports equipment. The hostel fee is Rs. 20,000 per annum.
Faculty: All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are qualified and have great knowledge. They do partiality. Most of them are good. The teaching quality is good. Our course provides the basic knowledge of the industry. The semester exams are moderate. They provide lower marks on our internal exams and high marks on external exams. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides knowledge of sensors, instruments, controllers, design, etc. This course is great. Our college should provide a relevant syllabus for the industry. It conducts 2 events every year. Our college has great surroundings. It provides scholarships to students based on their caste. Students who get scholarships should pay Rs. 2,000-6,000 fee every year.

Our college is focusing on placements which could help every student with their job.
Placements: Students got selected in TCS, Infosys and BEL in 2020. Our college gives us placement training. The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA by the recruiters. Approximately 60% of the students got placed either in 6th, 7th or in the final semester. All students get an internship from different companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has a vast library, which is providing all the necessary and best books, magazines and newspapers. Our department also has a separate library for our specific course. Classrooms are spacious, and labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi facilities are available in labs.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-knowledgeable, and most of them did a PhD. Teaching is also good. Teachers and placement committees make students placement-ready through industrial visits to know the needs for the skills and also to make them industry-ready.
Other: Our college conducts many technical events and also extracurricular activities. There are sports teams, and our college fest is held every year.

The college has good faculty, average placements and infrastructure.
Placements: The college has placement and training office, which organise the interviews of different companies. The placements are average on my college campus. The companies that visit the college for the placements are Mindtree Ltd, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elxsi, etc. My seniors got placed in these companies. Most of the placements are for computer science, electronic and communication, electrical, and instrumentation departments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is good, but the administrative office and some other department buildings are too old. Now a new building work is in progress, which may be ready by the next year. A new auditorium construction work was also going on in the college.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are helpful for the exams and for the academic development. They are well-qualified and had worked in IITs. Their teaching quality is effective and good. They teach according to the syllabus and the course outcome pattern. They plan the industrial visits in the nearby industries.
Other: Every year, a fest named Chaitra will be celebrated in the college. The Ethnic day will also be celebrated in the college.

Nothing is great in this college except it's the oldest college of engineering.
Placements: Very few, 4-5 students in a branch of 60 members get selected in the campus placements. Very few companies visit the college, but no faculty is willing to take responsibility. Better go to other private colleges, but don't expect more from this college. The important thing is placement cell is the worst on the campus.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. There are no hi-tech labs. The classrooms are okay. There is no proper infrastructure. There is one lady in the administrative block, who don't care about you. Even for a signature, you will have to wait for hours. No proper internals are conducted. Some lecturers are very strict even for a small mistake.
Faculty: There are good faculty members having full of interest, but nobody cares. The student to faculty ratio is very less. So, don't join here. The teachers are well-qualified but don't care about the students, and they finish the syllabus in a hurry. They just do their duty for the namesake.
