It is a very good college because of department faculty members and HOD.

Placements: The course offered at our college is good. Every year nearly 75% of the students get placed. Internship offers are arranged by concern department HOD, and they are always in contact with you and help more to complete the course successfully.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connections are better, and laboratory facilities are very good as compared to other colleges. Classrooms are smart, and smartboard facilities are available. The library has lots of books to improve our knowledge. The hostel also has good Wi-Fi connectivity, and mess food is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are well-knowledgeable and helpful to clear doubts of students. Staff members are helpful, and apart from the syllabus, they are also helpful in the placements of students. They improve the core technical knowledge. After completion of the course, they are ready to work.

Pros and cons of Velalar College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: There are the worst placements. They make us join the company which they are bringing, who treats us like labour. There are no benefits for students about the placement, they want to show 100% placement, so they criticise students to join the company without their interest.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat fine, and Wi-Fi is not freely available for everyone. One must submit a form and get an IP address. The classrooms and lab facilities are good. Only 3 buildings are there for engineering and no other things. Mechanical and civil branches are separated from other departments.

Faculty: The teachers are good and play the essential role with good communication between students. Their teaching methods are good, and they are skilled staff members. The course curriculum is standard due to its autonomous ability, and also the syllabus framing is done through various processes.

Other: There aren't too many events conducted and there will not be any free periods.

One of the best colleges in Erode district.

Placements: Placement records are maintained at a very good level of satisfaction. Placement training is given regularly with precise and accurate teaching. The placement trainers are well experienced. Top MNCs of both core and it, BPOs and training institutes will be recruiting in our college every year.

Infrastructure: VCET has a well-maintained infrastructure with a well-maintained and digitalized library and a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Labs are equipped with modern facilities. There are good hostels for both boys and girls with good messes. Transport facilities are arranged with good refreshment facilities. It has a very good canteen, xerox and a stationery inside the campus itself. The students also have easy access to the ATM. It has a dispensary with experienced doctors and staff members for medication free of cost.

Faculty: Faculty members are very much experienced and are kind and friendly to everyone. They took the utmost care on each and every student without seeing any partiality. Mechanical engineering has a very good scope and future and that is made very simple and easy VCET faculty members.
