Great placements and average campus life.
Placements: I'm from the 2023-2027 ISE batch. Around 60%-75% of students from our course get placed. The highest package is about 24 LPA, the average around 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest around 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Cisco, EY, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. About 60%-70% of students got internships, mostly in their final year. Common roles offered are developers, analysts, QA, and support.
Infrastructure: The ISE department has good labs, AC classrooms, and a digital library. Campus has free Wi-Fi and enough space for outdoor games. Hostels are decent, rooms are clean, food is okay, and there's a canteen. Medical facilities are available on campus with sports facilities.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and experienced. The curriculum is VTU-based but relevant, with workshops and coding events adding value. Exams are manageable if you study regularly. Pass percentage is high for those who attend classes. Exams follow the typical VTU pattern, if you do PYQs you are good to go.

Placements: Around 60 percent of the students were placed this year with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest package was 56 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA, with the average around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys and Wipro. Around 10 percent of students got internships in their 7th semester from the whole college in companies like Infosys and Wipro. Top roles offered from ISE are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good, as you will get good benches and chairs in the college, which are quite comfortable. Along with this, there is Wi-Fi in each class. In the lab, there are personal computers for each student, and there are 7-8 labs in the ISE department only. The library is quite big and is full of many books from all fields. The hostel is quite good with decent food, and rooms are 4-sharing only. Food is available 3 times a day, and tea is available in the evening. There is a food court in our college with very friendly prices. Sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and friendly, and they are well-experienced and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also up to the mark. Our course curriculum follows all the things that are followed by any big institution and is relevant to today's needs. Semester exams happen three times in a semester, every month, and the exams are moderate.
Other: I first did thorough research about my course and found out that this course is highly in demand as per today's needs. After completing this course, you can become a software developer or data analyst in different companies. Everything is better about this course, except they should try to teach more coding problems and real-life problems related to engineering. Till last year, a fest was happening in our college, but now no fest will happen as such. The campus crowd is around 8-9k, and the campus surroundings are good. You can participate in a lot of extracurricular activities like dance, music, skits, etc.

Impartial insight of RNSIT.
Placements: My class consists of 60 students, and my department, ISE, consists of around 260 students. The passing-out batch this year had a placement rate of 95%. The highest package this year was around 45 LPA, whereas the average package ranges between 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has outstanding infrastructure with dedicated blocks for all branches. Each block has a number of well-maintained labs, both digital and physical (like in Civil and Mechanical). The labs in my IT block are all very well maintained, with each of them having special functions. We have a high-tech lab, a lab specially for OOPs, and many other labs for development, AIML, and Gen AI. Each classroom has its own Wi-Fi and a smart projector. The mess is clean, and the hostel is 4-sharing, well-maintained, and frequently cleaned.
Faculty: The teachers are well-experienced and well-versed with the subjects. They are really knowledgeable and helpful. They are actually one of the best features of this institute. The course curriculum is also very up-to-date and follows modern trends. Elective courses are also offered each semester to explore different new domains of technology, like IoT, etc. The college conducts 3 internal exams known as CIE, which occur almost every month with a 20-25 day gap. The papers are moderate and in accordance with the VTU syllabus. To pass, one needs at least 18/50 marks.
Other: The college was suggested to me by my connections here as a good tier-2 college. As the college is tier-2, it has some flaws related to placement activities, but overall, it’s on top of all the colleges in this tier. The uniform is a major issue as it is mandatory to wear them on lab days and exams. There are a hefty number of events, both small and big, held almost every month, including hackathons, competitive coding, sports, annual fests like PANTHEON, annual sports fests like AZURE, and also the RAJYOTSAV.

Life of ISE student in RNSIT.
Placements: The main reason I chose and love this college is because of its placement opportunities. The average placement package at this college is around 8 LPA. Last year, in 2023, two students from ISE got the 56 LPA package from Adobe, and that was the highest.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of RNSIT College is beautiful. It has a food court, gym, library, auditorium, basic canteen, basketball court, and even huge parking for two-wheelers as well as four-wheelers. RNS College even has a hostel right behind the campus. There are 5 departmental blocks; they are very spacious.
Faculty: Faculty in RNSIT information science and engineering are really friendly and supportive. They are very approachable. The college has 3 internal assessment instead of 2 like other colleges and they give 3 assignments per semester. You will have 8 subjects per semester, but if you have any interest in choosing a subject like AIML, CY provides you with.

RNSIT College Review, Good and Bands.
Placements: Around 30 percent of the students are placed in the college. The highest package was around 50 LPA, and the average package was around 5–6 LPA. They need to maintain attendance to get placed. Around 30 percent of the students get internships. The top recruiters are Texas Instruments. , CRED and Adobe.
Infrastructure: The college has an area of around 60 acres and is still expanding. The college has a well-maintained library in which you can find all the books you need. The college hostel has 3 and 4 sharing rooms. The college has a canteen that provides good food. The classes don't have Wi-Fi, but the labs have Ethernet connections.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, and the teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is relevant, and with the help of placement training and industry experience, the students can be industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult as the paper comes from VTU, but the three internal assessments are easy.

A review on RNS Institute of Technology.
Placements: I am right now studying at the RNS Institute of Technology, and I am studying a BE in Information Science and Engineering. About 60% of students in my department are placed this year. The highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest package was 1.5 LPA, and the average package is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Delloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, and many more. Around 40% of students got internship opportunities in our department, and the companies include Deloitte, Capgemini, and many more. The top roles offered in our course are full-stack development, application development, testing, and programming roles.
Infrastructure: We have a separate building by the name of IT Block just for the CSE and ISE branches. We have around 5 floors in it with fully equipped labs for programming. We also have a Wi-Fi facility in the college, which is available in all the classes, and everyone can access it in the college. The hostel is not so good in terms of the infrastructure or the cleanliness of the building. The mess food is average and not up to the mark.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the department are Ph.D. holders. All of them are knowledgeable, and they also teach well at the college. We are studying the updated syllabus from the VTU, and it is really good in terms of the industry standards that are set in today's competitive world. The semester is not so difficult. If one has studied all the modules and also understood the concepts well, then it is easy to score good marks in the exam.
Other: I was interested in programming and stuff. So, I chose this course, and another factor is that there is a lot of scope for the course in the future.. The best thing about your course is that it emphasizes making oneself attain skills rather than just scoring marks. We have an inter-department fest that happens in the college by the name of Parichay that happens every two years, and then we have an inter-college fest by the name of Pantheon that happens every two years. We have a lush green campus, and it is a really good atmosphere to learn and grow in life.

RNSIT complete and honest review.
Placements: Over 60% of the students are placed from the 7th sem, which is quite a good placement percentage in the year 2024. The highest package offered was 26.65 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters like Infosys, Amazon, TCS still haven't visited this year due to recession, but they came last year. Internships are offered to students based on the technical test given by the companies. Roles like associate software engineer and tester are offered.
Infrastructure: A large digital library was recently made this year, benefiting many students, and it got a good Wi-Fi connection. Many playgrounds like a football ground, basketball ground are available. When it comes to the hostel, it is not up to the mark. They charge a high amount of fees, around ₹110000, but the food is the worst. So please don't join the hostel; join PGs which are available outside the college.
Faculty: Before 2022, the college staff and faculty members were very good and nice, but now the faculty is not as good; many of the newly appointed teachers joined the college with no teaching experience. But still, the notes provided are helpful for us. The staff are a little strict and don't allow students to take internal exams if they have a low attendance percentage.
Other: The course which I have chosen is ISE, which is quite good. But still, the CSE staff and management are better. The ISE department's teaching and experience should be improved. Overall, campus life is good; fests like utopia, parichay, interdepartmental sports competitions are conducted.

A College known for its Placements, good staff, and average infrastructure.
Placements: A good number of students were placed in the college campus selection, where the highest was 56 LPA and an average of 6–7 LPA. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiting companies with good roles such as Analyst, Cybersecurity, and Data Science, etc. Also, the students got a good amount in the Internship also with an average of 15,000–25,000 Rupees.
Infrastructure: All the branches of engineering have state-of-the-art laboratories with computers with the latest configurations, licensed software, hardware, sensors, motors, and machines to cater to the hands-on experience to students. The canteen, being the most preferred hangout place, serves the craving students from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. The Campus has a majestic auditorium with a 1200 seating capacity and world-class Audio-Visual System. There are three hostels, two for boys and one for girl students. Hostel rooms are well-ventilated and with attached facilities. Food is served in the Mess by Sodexo, a leader in hospitality services. There are three huge playgrounds to cater to the sports enthusiasts with facilities for Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Athletics. Gym facility is extended to both Boys and Girls. The Gymnasium is well-maintained and houses well-maintained fitness-related equipment.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable and qualified enough to understand the subject and teach very well. The teaching quality is okay in terms of giving good notes, but they are not strict and consider us as schoolchildren. The exam toughness varies but is surely not that easy. The students can understand the subject, but it is better to not rely on the College and to improve knowledge outside.
