Review of VIT - Vemana Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good for the mechanical branch. However, for CS branch, there are good placements. From our branch, only two students got placed but not in core mechanical companies. Reputed or high profile companies don't visit the college for placements. Placement training is provided to students during their pre-final year.

Infrastructure: There are no sports in our college as the management doesn't care about it. As I have represented our university 3 times in national level competitions, but we didn't get a cash prize or any support from any faculty member or HOD. Since this college was established in 1999, its infrastructure has become very old. However, from 2017, our college has started to demolish a few buildings and constructing new buildings. This college also conducts an IEEE conference. Now our college is implementing a new parking lot separately for two-wheeler and four-wheeler.

Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified and have more experience. There are senior faculty members such as dean and principal who share their knowledge and wisdom. All faculty members inspire us to study and gain knowledge, and their teaching is very good. It is a wonderful platform to learn, share and gain wisdom.

It has a very good platform for students. It has good infrastructure and great faculty.

Placements: Almost 75% of the students get placed. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, the average salary package offered was 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Intel Pvt Ltd and Mylan are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with roles like site engineering and project manager. In our course, the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, the average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Almost all the students did their internships. Some of them got placed in VRR Fortuna, and some others got placed in the construction field.

Infrastructure: The library consists of many books, journals, newspaper, some Kannada books with a neat and healthy climate. It also consists of CCTV for students security. It is a great part of being as a student of Vemana IT.

Faculty: Every lecturer is well-talent, and they are ready to clear our doubt at any time. Teaching quality is excellent. They were very humble and caring. They even tell 100 times if we want that concept. If we are not able to understand in the class, they will call us personally and clear our all doubts. We got industry trips where we have lots of enjoyment and at the same time gain knowledge of construction site.

Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to be a good civil engineer. It was my dream from the school level, and finally, I got a seat in such a beautiful college where it made my dream come true. The civil engineer is not the one who can stick only to the one thing, but it is our daily challenge. Scholarships are provided from our college society for students who score more marks in their academics. Our college will conduct the fest every year, and every time it is new. There will be many games, dance and all the fun activities, which makes students enjoy a lot.

A worthy institute for better coaching and the discipline maintained is at the top.

Placements: For information science, electronics and communication, and computer science branches' placements are possible compared to civil engineering. We have 2 placement coordinators for each class. The placement officer is efficiently doing his duty for the students' placement. Even our principal is trying to improve our placements by coordinating with other companies.

Infrastructure: The college provided affordable bus facility for everyone who stays in Bangalore and outskirts of Bangalore. The library maintained by librarians is fantastic. We have a problem with the sports section. We don't have enough place for sports, it is the most sucking problem we are facing.

Faculty: The civil engineering was started in the year 2014. In the final year, till now, nobody got placed in a civil company. In civil engineering, we have excellent and heart full faculty. Every year, they are taking a risk to improve our academics. In every academic year, civil stands in the top position in results.

To be honest. According to my experience. I didn't feel happy to be in this college.

Placements: 1) Hardly 5% Will be placed. 2) If He/she has got campus selection then they will be offered nearly 20k-30k n the lowest 5k-10k. Assistant Engineer, Manager etc roles offered. 4-5 Lacs package offered. Students who scored well in 4 years (above 70% in every semester) can easily get campus selection internship.

Infrastructure: Better classrooms, hostel facilities are good, & food is good not an issue, Recently they opened new canteen, Many more co- curricular activities will be held. No Wi-Fi Internet connection. Labs are good. Library facility is available. Transportation is available. Infrastructure is not bad.

Faculty: Some Teachers are 10-15 years experienced. Teaching quality is good. But According to my experience I didn't feel comfortable in this college. For me teachers were not helpful. They deducted my internal marks. So I failed in exams because of low internal marks. Teachers are very strict regarding attendance. Some of them are very rude to students. We should be well behaved in front of them.

Other: Civil engineering is an evergreen branch. Because India is a developing country so, many more job opportunities will be offered for civil students. Fest will be conducted by college staff.

Our college provides a good education, but there is no enjoyment.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but mechanical engineering and civil engineering branches do not have many placements. However, computer science and information science branches have good placements. But the training is yet required for students, and also awareness about the current field.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but washrooms have yet to be improved. There is a lack of drinking facility and purity, and a fire hydrant system is also not available. Benches are not comfortable to attend for long lectures. The good thing here is a laboratory and other services like library, information centres, books, journals, update magazines, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, but sometimes they are biased towards the first bench and backbench students. They judge students capabilities only by marks rather than their co-curriculum activities. They support only if they need any help from us. Their behaviour towards boys is average, and even they don't understand genuine problems.
