It is a very good college.
Placements: About 50-60% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Mindtree, Huawei, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Sonata Software, Radel, etc., visited our campus for placements. Top roles offered like graduate engineer trainee, software developer, network engineer, etc., are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: There are no sports in our college as the management doesn't care about it. I have represented our university 3 times in national-level competitions, but we didn't get a cash prize or any support from any faculty member or HOD. Since this college was established in 1999, its infrastructure has become very old. However, our college has started to demolish a few buildings and constructing new buildings from 2017. This college also conducts an IEEE conference. Now, our college is providing a new parking lot separately for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified and have more experience. There are senior faculty members such as dean and principal who share their knowledge and wisdom. All the faculty members inspire us to study and gain knowledge, and their teaching is very good. It is a wonderful platform to learn, share and gain wisdom.

The best engineering college for innovative students.
Placements: Placements in our college were good. Reputed MNCs visited our college for recruitment. Students who have an aggregate of 60% and above need not worry about placements. Most of the companies offer a salary package of 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Few companies offered very good salary packages ranging from 8 LPA to 12 LPA. Department coordinators will look after all the placement and training activities.
Infrastructure: In 4 years, Vemana IT has changed a lot. Now, the campus is excellent. During our time, it was in different shape, and when I graduated, it was changed. Labs were good, and faculty members were very friendly. There was no canteen when I finished my degree, but recently, when I visited the college, the canteen was ready. The canteen is excellent and beautiful. I loved it.
Faculty: Faculty members were excellent, friendly and supportive. The syllabus of some of the subjects needs to be revised by VTU and should match with industry requirements. Most of the faculty members have more than 10 years of experience. Technical talks by industry experts are regularly organised by the college to understand the needs of industry. Guest lectures and seminars were regularly held.
Other: Vemana IT provides its maximum support to conduct cultural and sports activities. Our college organised an inter-college cultural fest named Vemanotstav, and it was a grand success. The college provides very good encouragement for meritorious students and also the college is magnanimous to help the poor and needy students.
