Satisfied with the placement of the 2022 batch.
Placements: My honest reaction about placement. All people, no matter which branch you're from, ultimately get placed in IT firms. Companies like Cognizant, On subsea, Aker Solutions, etc., are hiring. I completed my Masters in control systems and am now working as a software engineer. The package was 6-7 Lacs. Basically, it was a software placement drive.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good; the campus is filled with trees, but its maintenance is poor. Wi-Fi facilities are available, and our classrooms have CCTV, digital boards, and projectors. The hostel was not good because of some rowdy people; it became scary, mainly those who are from South India. Their group dominates the students.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching, but in handling students, they are poor. There are continuous fights and crimes on campus; teachers need to be strict to stop this. Walchand has a good curriculum that includes in-depth theory and practicals for the overall development of students. Exams are held twice a year.
Other: Our college is one of the best colleges. We have a good placement track record, which is why I chose Walchand.
