The Course is Relevant

Placements: My course doesn't have placement opportunities. However, about 25% of students have secured internships through platforms like Internshala and other companies that visited for recruitment. Most of my batchmates have either joined boards or are pursuing higher studies.

Infrastructure: The new building of our college is the latest addition to our campus. Besides having one of the oldest libraries in Delhi, we have separate buildings for Science and Humanities. The campus includes a Mother Dairy and a large cafeteria. We also have a table tennis room where various societies practice for their upcoming events.

Faculty: The curriculum for my course was relevant to some extent, though there wasn't much practical exposure or internship opportunities for final-year students. Despite this, the faculty is excellent and puts a lot of effort into discussing situations and theories. While the course doesn't fully prepare us to be industry-ready, the overall experience has been good, and I've learned a lot.

College is good in terms of placements but is very good in terms of faculty, infrastructure etc.

Placements: Just a few students were placed in the course and the highest package was around INR 4 LPA and the lowest was around INR 1.2 LPA. Almost 60% of the students applied for internship programs and half of them really completed the internship in companies like Edicent, HR pvt and junior HR executive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is on point, the college has a big centrally air conditioned auditorium and one of the biggest library in the university. The labs are also in good condition with all the necessary equipment. The college don't have any hostel facility. But it has a large canteen with a variety of items at a very low price with good quality and it also has a mother dairy stall for refreshments. The college has good medical facilities in case of emergency and it also has various societies for sports and games .

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and they have a very polite and friendly way of teaching. The teachers also focuses on giving practical knowledge to the students. The course is always revised by the university and it tries to equip students with skills instead of just providing theoretical knowledge.

Other: I chose this course because I had my interest in the HR field and I want to pursue my MBA in HR too. The course can be better if they provide field trips to organisations to make the students understand how an organisation actually works. The college life in this college is pretty good because of regular fests and functions, various societies of the college organises different types of extra and co curricular activities for fun and social welfare too. The campus of the college is located in central Delhi and it has a very good transportation access as it is around 1.5 km from new Delhi railway station and metro. The campus has many gardens like rose garden, rock garden etc. The campus has a lot of greenery. The college doesn't provide any scholarship as such but I has some financial aids which are provided by the university.

Review of Zakir Husain Delhi College.

Placements: The highest salary packages start from 5 LPA and placements for the ones with good academic backgrounds. The percentage of students placed in our course is 60 to 70%. The top roles offered are HR Manager or anything from economic teacher to a marketing salesman.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility and have a good collection of books in the library. A medical room, a canteen with a good sitting area are available. Sports and games are very less due to lack of facilities and items.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and take classes regularly never skip unnecessarily. This course has very interesting subjects with a mixture of industrial laws and economical view, it is a subject of interest to students. Exams are difficult.

Infrastructure: The library is good and air-conditioned. It has many books to gain knowledge.
