I am not satisfied, but strong literary, cultural activities and infrastructure need work!

Placements: In our course, around 35% of students got placed through the college or by applying themselves. The highest salary package is about 6 lacs per year. The lowest is around 2.5 lacs per year, and the average is about 3.5 lacs per year. Companies that hire students from our course were The Times Group, Wipro, Teach for India, and TCS. A few students also got jobs in small start-ups as content writers or social media managers. Around 30% of students got internships. Some companies that offered internships were Internshala, Youth Ki Awaaz, and Penguin India.

Infrastructure: Zakir Husain Delhi College has built a new building, but it is still not in use. English Honours classes are held in the old building, which has poor whiteboards, broken desks, and sometimes non-working fans. In summer, classrooms become very hot. Once, a ceiling fan even fell down. The library is useful, and Wi-Fi is available, but not very reliable. The sports ground is mostly unused, and hostel facilities are limited. The canteen is average. Overall, the infrastructure needs a lot of improvement, especially since students are still using outdated classrooms while a new building remains unused.

Faculty: The English Honours faculty at Zakir Husain College is mostly helpful and qualified. Some teachers are very knowledgeable and engaging, while a few are just sick of notes. The curriculum is interesting and covers important literary texts, but it is not very industry-focused. It helps in building reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Semester exams are moderate, not too easy or too hard. With regular study, passing is not difficult. The pass percentage is quite high, around 85-90%. Overall, the course is academically strong but could be more practical for job readiness.

Other: I am from the B.A. English (Hons) 2nd year batch. I chose this course because I am passionate about literature and creative writing. The best part of our course is the workshops and practical activities. Probably the best in the college. We often have open mic sessions, theatre, and interactive seminars. The curriculum is rich, and cultural events like the North East Fest and ethnic dance programs happen frequently. The campus is in a good location with great connectivity. The crowd is diverse, and there is a good mix of academic and cultural vibes. Still, more career-focused sessions would be a nice addition.

Absolutely satisfying because of the best placements.

Placements: About 80 percent of the students get placements from this college. I have seen many of my seniors getting placements from this college. My college is the best college; the highest package is 27 Lacs per annum and the average package is 10 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities in the hostel, like Wi-Fi, which is available everywhere in the hostel. We had Physics, Biology, and Chemistry labs. () The classrooms were very clean and hygienic. The medical facilities were outstanding, and we used to play many games like football, basketball, etc.

Faculty: The professors were very helpful and kind. They had deep knowledge regarding their subject and used to clear everyone's doubts very easily. () The teaching quality of the professors was very good. (*) The semester examinations in the college were not very difficult.

Other: I chose this course because we get the best placements from this college, especially from this college. We had many programs in the college, like fests and sports days, etc.

Our college is clean, and it has polite teachers.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs.30,000 per month. Around 55% of students got internships in this course. Top roles were offered in this course.

Infrastructure: There was a decent library in this college. Computer laboratory was available in this college. Classrooms were well-maintained, and fans were working properly. The food served in the hostel was good. Drinking water facility was also available. Hostel facilities were good.

Faculty: Teachers were average. The teaching quality was better for us to understand every topic easily. Semester exams were not difficult. The pass percentage was 40%. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.

Other: This course was very easy. I chose this course because of my interest in placements. The best thing about this course was that we could grab decent jobs.

Our college provides good faculty members.

Placements: There are no top companies that visit our college for recruitment, but students from the IT department and economics branch can expect better placements.

Infrastructure: In our college, the library is huge. It also provides a library. Our college is also constructing new buildings for students, but the old building is also better.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in our college. They are helpful and kind. English faculty members are also intelligent. They will help you in every possible way.

It's more or less fine/tolerable .

Placements: The course do not offer placements, so there is actually no the highest or the lowest package package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is actually rather poor. There is a lack of space even to sit and talk. The canteen, library, classrooms or even the garden. There is even a lack of benches to sit around, also the fact that there are no places to even wait if the classes are far apart makes it even worse.

Faculty: Some teachers are absolutely brilliant, makes classrooms interactive and try their best to make the learning experience worth the effort and time. Some other teachers can be rude, arrogant and absentees. Although I'd say teachers are overall fine if we remove someone.

Our college has the best faculty members in English department.

Placements: Some seniors are placed in good roles after completing their course. Some of them are even studying and working out of India as well.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good. We have a newly constructed building but it hasn't been open yet. So there is a lack of infrastructure. There are no enough desks and poor ventilation. Some rooms become unbreathable during summer. Most of the rooms are small that doesn't fit the whole strength.

Faculty: Our department has the best professors. They are highly professional and intellectual. We study literature and discuss so much out of the syllabus. Semester exams were good because of the professors. They made learning so fun even when we were in online mode.

Other: I chose English Hons because it has a wide scope. It not only teaches literature but also teaches so much about the world.

The only defect in the college is its location. It is a central campus.

Placements: The placement cell in our college is not good. You get very below-average or average placements. But the college has a placement cell. Students of different departments are assigned this duty. The placement cell coordinator goes for the search of the company and invite them. Not knowing much about the placements because very few students go for placement directly after Bachelors, especially in our course. .

Infrastructure: Being from an arts background, we didn't get a separate department. One can find much greenery around. Science and commerce department got separate blocks. The food served in the canteen is good. You will be fine with so many varieties are available. The chat corner is also a good choice to try your hands on.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are well-qualified. My English department teachers were superb and I can seriously write home about them. They were very helpful and in fact, I found the whole administration helpful. The exams were semester-based and the marking is not so good in internals.

Other: This college is not so famous for its fest. Better go to other colleges during the fest season to enjoy it. The campus crowd is above average and the connectivity is good.

The college has good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: 50% of students got placed in my course. I don't know about the highest, the lowest and the average packages offered in my course. I don't know about the top recruiting companies for my course. Professor and teacher roles are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our department are very good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available. There is no hotel, but the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities, sports and games clubs are also good.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not much hard, but it depends on your preparation. The passing percentage is 33%.

Interested candidates have to register online with required information.
