One of the best design institutes.

Placements: The college offers good placement prospects with an effective placement cell. Good brands come for college placement or you can select a job acc to your own interest. The placement percent is over 90% with the average package around 3.5-4 Lacs per annum. The highest goes around 6-7 Lacs.

Infrastructure: Though set in a limited space, the infrastructure is applaudable. Boasting of a well designed and beautiful campus, the college has state-of-the-art labs for all departments with updated machines and software. The hostel (only available for girls) and mess are of fine quality too.

Faculty: Almost all the faculty members for this curriculum are well-versed in their field and have a good experience of teaching as well as working in the industry. They will push you hard to excel and stretch your limits and always be there to guide you. The course covers a wide variety of subjects over the 4 years making it really diverse and interesting.

Other: The campus crowd is a mix of students from different states, cultural and financial backgrounds and you'll always find someone of your own kind. There is no dearth of extra curricular activities and a lot of events, fests keep happening giving you much required break from the straining work.

A review on National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore.

Placements: The placements in our campus are good. Almost all the students get pre-placement offers from the companies they intern for in the final semester. But, if they don't get pre-placement, a lot of companies come to the campus for placement. Almost 90% of the students get jobs from campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. It is very small, but beautiful and well designed. It is designed in the principle of the golden spiral. The classrooms are spacious with Wi-Fi facilities. We have a very big library with thousands of resources. Sports and games are part of our everyday lifestyle.

Faculty: The teachers are very well-qualified and highly knowledgeable. The teaching methods they use are good and helps us understand the things better. We do not get industry exposure much, but the curriculum I underwent was taught to me well and will certainly help in my life ahead.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test i.e Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the college.
Situation Test
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Situation Test based on the score obtained in CAT and GAT.
Counselling
Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in CAT/ GAT or Situation test score and performance in Group Discussion/ Personal Interview. Selection parameters and weightages: CAT: 50% GAT: 30% Situation Test: 20% For candidates belonging to Foreign Nationals / SAARC / NRI category, admission is on the basis of SAT score. Your B.F. Tech rank is applicable for B.F.Tech course only not for B.Des. courses. So you can not get B.Des on the basis of B.F.Tech rank. Hello there, Courses are never bad, all the courses have their own identity in the market. Placement depends on the institution. Choose only one i.e. fashion photography or graphic designer.
