Around 85% of students from our batch were successfully placed in various renowned companies. The highest package offered was approximately 12 Lacs per annum, while the lowest was around 5 Lacs per annum. The average package stood at 8 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies include Hidesign, Bata, Tata International, and Arvind Lifestyle, among others.

I love my college, it is a good college for Later design course.

Placements: NIFT Kolkata is very popular for fashion design because our college provides 90% placement. In the fashion design course, the highest salary package is 12 LPA, and the average salary package is 6 LPA. In our department, all students get an internship. The top companies for placements are Sky Bags, Reebok, Metropoli Fashion, etc. Top roles offered are designer, range developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college provides all types of facilities; all classrooms have projectors, and all lab rooms are AC-connected. The entire college area is Wi-Fi covered. Library facilities are available in our college. Good-quality hostel facilities are available. Both canteen and food court are available in the college. Sports and games are arranged every year.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. They are knowledgeable and experienced. Teachers provide all types of facilities to complete our final year project. Best equipment for leather lab and there are supportive faculty.

Placements: The course is very popular with those who want to pursue leather design and college almost provides 80% of students with the highest package of 32 LPA to the lowest of 5 LPA as an intern and expert in leather analyst and design quality.

Infrastructure: The college architecture is very good; five buildings are available and separate common rooms and labs are available for each section. The routine is fairly organized, keeping in mind that the students get time to study on their own as well. The classes are well furnished and decorated with smart boards, and the labs are AC.

Faculty: Teachers at NIFT Kolkata are very collaborative and they always provide every type of guidance for assistants for exams and midterm exams. Professors in my department are so experienced with industry-level guidance. Industrial training happens every once in a week as our subject is based on pure industry.

Other: I always had a passion for shoe design so I chose this subject to get a job at Nike.
