AEEE 2026 Slot Booking Phase 1 (January 10): How to Book Exam Slots, Get Amrita Slot Booking Link Here

The AEEE 2026 phase 1 exam will be held from January 29 to February 1, 2026. Candidates can book their exam slot using the AEEE 2026 slot booking facility.

AEEE 2026 exam will be held in two slots. The slots are 9:30 am to 12 noon and then 2 pm to 4:30 pm. There will be two phases January 29 to February 1, and then from April 25 to 30.

The steps to book the AEEE exam slots are:

1. Candidates shall login to the AEEE 2026 application portal using their registered Mobile Number / Email Id and will be logged in only after OTP verification.
2. After logging in, the candidates can select the AEEE test date and test slots based on availability.
3. Since other candidates will also be using the same slot booking portal simultaneously, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes his/her selection, and the particular slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. In such case, the candidate will be prompted to choose another AEEE exam date and slot.
4. To change the test date, click on the Change Test Date button. Candidates are advised to check the selection of Test Centre, Date and Time before confirmation.
5. Click “Confirm Slot” button to confirm AEEE slot booking.

A AEEE exam slot once booked cannot be changed under any circumstances. Requests for a change of test centres also will not be entertained. The address of the AEEE examination centre for a candidate will be mentioned in the AEEE admit card.

The Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP) is an official website for candidates applying for BTech courses at Amrita University via AEEE. All details for AEEE registration, fee payment, slot booking, admit card download, result announcements, and counselling. Upon successful AEEE registration, candidates will receive login details, which they can use to access the AOAP for any of the activities mentioned here.

The candidates have to book the slots as per the schedule.  The slots will be available in first come first serve basis, therfore candidates must book the slots as soon as possible. The candidates who do not book the slots are assigned slots as per the availability of the same. Candidates can log in using their Application Number and Date-of-Birth. As per the historic trends, the AEEE 2026 slot booking for the phase 1 exam can be expected in February 2026, a week before the exam.

AEEE slot booking window opens for a limited period and is done in real-time and on a first-come first-served basis. Via AEEE slot booking process, candidates can select the exam date and time, as per their availability. The preferences submitted by the candidate are only indicative and a guide to the University for deciding the number of centres in each city. A candidate will be allotted one out of the three preferred cities, preferably the first preferred city. If the exam cannot be conducted at the first preferred city of a candidate, for any reason whatsoever, they will be allotted to the second/third preference as applicable.

The university will put all efforts into conducting AEEE 2026 in all the cities listed in the appendix. If any city in the list is cancelled due to very less registrations or for any other reason, the candidates who have opted for that city will be allotted to another city the nearest to their preference, and the same will be informed to the candidates by the registered email address.

Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar. Candidates can check the campuses that offer BTech specialisation that they are interested in on the official website. Not all campuses will offer all the specialisations. For example, the Coimbatore campus offers all specialisations except for Electronics & Computer Engineering. Similarly, exceptions are applicable in other campuses too.

No. Candidates will not get the admit card in offline mode. The varsity will not send the AEEE admit card to any candidate individually via post, mail, etc. Candidates have to use the AEEE Email ID / Application Number and date of birth to access the AEEE admit card online on the official website.

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.
