AEEE 2026 Slot Booking: Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham will start the AEEE phase 2 slot booking process on the official website, aeee.amrita.edu. The slot booking dates for AEEE phase 2 exam are April 10 to 20.

To book slots for AEEE exam, candidates have to use their registered mobile number and the OTP they receive. The candidates who have completed the slot booking can download the AEEE admit card.

Only the candidates who complete the AEEE registrations can select their AEEE 2026 exam time slots through the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP). Amrita University holds the AEEE 2026 exams across multiple time slots. Candidates can book their AEEE 2026 exam date and time through the AEEE slot booking window.

Note that only the candidates who complete the AEEE slot booking before the deadline will get the AEEE 2026 admit card and will be allowed inside the exam centre.

The AEEE slot booking 2026 window opens for a limited period and is done in real-time and on a first-come come first-served basis. The candidates who do not book the slots are assigned the slots randomly as per availability. The booked slots are then made available via the AEEE admit card 2026, according to which candidates have to visit the AEEE exam centre and appear for the AEEE CBT exam. Candidates have to carry the downloaded and printed copy of the AEEE admit card to the allotted exam centre.

Q:   How to book AEEE exam slots?

The steps to book the AEEE exam slots are:

  1. Candidates shall login to the AEEE 2026 application portal using their registered Mobile Number / Email Id and will be logged in only after OTP verification.
  2. After logging in, the candidates can select the AEEE test date and test slots based on availability.
  3. Since other candidates will also be using the same slot booking portal simultaneously, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes his/her selection, and the particular slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. In such case, the candidate will be prompted to choose another AEEE exam date and slot.
  4. To change the test date, click on the Change Test Date button. Candidates are advised to check the selection of Test Centre, Date and Time before confirmation.
  5. Click “Confirm Slot” button to confirm AEEE slot booking.

A AEEE exam slot once booked cannot be changed under any circumstances. Requests for a change of test centres also will not be entertained. The address of the AEEE examination centre for a candidate will be mentioned in the AEEE admit card.

Q:   What is AOAP in AEEE?

The Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP) is an official website for candidates applying for BTech courses at Amrita University via AEEE. All details for AEEE registration, fee payment, slot booking, admit card download, result announcements, and counselling. Upon successful AEEE registration, candidates will receive login details, which they can use to access the AOAP for any of the activities mentioned here.

What is AEEE Slot Booking Process?

The process via which the AEEE registered candidates are allowed to select and book their exam date and time is called slot booking. Candidates registered for AEEE Computer Based Test can select the “DATE AND TIME SLOT” of their choice, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day are finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of dates/slots is done on a first come first serve basis. If a candidate does not exercise their option, they shall be assigned a date/slot as per the availability of the same. To Book the Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the slot booking link provided on the University webpage and on this page.

Q:   I already applied and paid fee for AEEE, but during the slot booking process there was no slot available. What do I do?
A: 

Since the slots are not available, this means all slots have been booked. In this case, the next best option is to apply for next phase of AEEE exam, if available. AEEE slot booking is done in first come first serve basis. Therefore you must book the slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. Since other candidates are also simultaneously using the same slot booking portal, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes making his or her selection, and the slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. In such cases, the candidate will be prompted to choose another date and slot. Hence, if your slot is not available, you will have to simply select another one, or you might get allocated a different one.

Q:   I selected my AEEE exam date and time, however, while confirming the booking the slots I selected were no more available, what should I do?
A:

How to Do AEEE Slot Booking 2026?

  • Candidates can log in using their registered email ID / mobile number. 
  • After logging in, the candidates can select the test date and test slots based on availability. To choose the date, click on the available date and click the continue button.

 

  • In the next screen, candidates will be asked to select a test slot based on its availability status.
  • Since other candidates are also using the same slot booking portal, sometimes the status may change by the time the candidate finishes their selection, and the particular slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. Then, click on the Change Test Date button, and they will be prompted to choose another date and slot. To change the test date, select the Test Centre, Date, and Time before confirmation.
  • Click Confirm Slot button to confirm the booking.
  • Address of exam centre for a candidate will be mentioned in the Admit Card, which can be downloaded later on as per schedule.

AEEE slot booking guidelines are as follows:

  1. Candidates have to choose date and slot of their choice by using Amrita University slot booking 2026.
  2. Aspirants will not be issued e-hall ticket without booking a slot through Amrita online test booking system.
  3. Candidates have to submit their application number, gender, and date of birth while logging into online booking system.
  4. If candidate fails to book their slot on or before last date, system will generate same automatically.
  5. Please note that Amrita slot booking will not allow candidate to book their slot after last date.

If any city in the list is cancelled due to very less registrations or for any other reason, the candidates who have opted for that city will be allotted to another city the nearest to their preference, and the same will be informed to the candidates by the registered email address.

What After Booking AEEE 2026 Slots?

Once the slots are booked, the AEEE admit card is issued provisionally to the candidate to attend the entrance examination. Admit cards to write the examination are generated only for those eligible candidates who have submitted their application form complete in all respects and have booked slots. The admit card is an important document and must be kept safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

Note that the AEEE admit card is not sent to the candidates via post. Candidates have to download the admit card from the AEEE website, and using the admit card link, they have to download the AEEE hall ticket. AEEE admit card contains details like the Name and Registration Number of the candidate, Date of Exam, Address of the Exam Centre allotted, etc.

No. Candidates will not get the admit card in offline mode. The varsity will not send the AEEE admit card to any candidate individually via post, mail, etc. Candidates have to use the AEEE Email ID / Application Number and date of birth to access the AEEE admit card online on the official website.

Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar. Candidates can check the campuses that offer BTech specialisation that they are interested in on the official website. Not all campuses will offer all the specialisations. For example, the Coimbatore campus offers all specialisations except for Electronics & Computer Engineering. Similarly, exceptions are applicable in other campuses too.

Q:   How can I take admission in Amrita other than through AEEE?

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.

No. The syllabus of AEEE is not same as JEE. Candidates must note that AEEE and JEE Mains are two different exam meant for different purposes. AEEE is conducted for admission to B.Tech courses in campuses of Amrita University while JEE Mains is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs.
