For ease, all the procedures of the admission process are now online: Vivek, LPU

Earlier for admission in my college, the students who have given JEE Main or NEST exam and secured a good rank in it after can go for counselling. Now, due to the lockdown, all these exams have not been conducted. So, my college has made some changes in their policies such as all the processes are online, so no one needs to visit the university campus to get the admission. The process to get admission for all the programmes is mentioned below.

Special schedule of counselling for BTech: A special schedule of counselling is being conducted for admissions in BTech programs through online mode for all those candidates who already have JEE Main or LPU NEST score (from exams conducted in January 2020).

• The special schedule of counselling will be conducted online only as per the dates mentioned below:

Regular schedule of counselling for BTech: The applicants who do not have LPU NEST or JEE (Main) score because they did not appear for exams in January/ February shall apply on or before April 20, 2020. The schedule of LPU NEST exam and counselling will be informed later. 

MBA Interview and Admission: To support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions in MBA programmes, remote video interviews for admission in MBA during the lockdown will be conducted. For candidates, who have already appeared for and have cleared the MBA Interview, the last date of MBA Admissions (January applicants) is till  April 30, 2020. 

For Admissions:-

• Last date to apply is May 31, 2020.
• The university has decided to conduct remote video interviews for admission in MBA during the national lockdown period due to Covid-19. LPU NEST will now be conducted for scholarship only.

Important Dates

• Interview Scheduling:   April, 8 – 20, 2020
• Interview Conduct :        April 10, - 23, 2020
• Interview Result:           April 25, 2020
• Admission :                    April 25 - 30, 2020

For all other programmes (except BTech, MBA, PhD and PG Agriculture), direct online/remote admissions (subject to the fulfilment to eligibility criteria) process has been introduced. 

PG Agriculture and PhD: Applications for LPUNEST are already open. 

For PhD Programme:

• LPU NEST and subsequent interview will be conducted as per the schedule communicated earlier.
• Slot booking for the exam will be open from April 15, 2020 onwards.

 If any student wants to get admission then he can get in touch with the University either by calling them or visiting the official website for same and drop your details in the Contact Us form to get a return call from the University. You can also get all the course details, fee structure, placements details, and all other details from the website. If any student wants to book the hostel or needs more information on it, then they can also enquire about it on the given helpline. The virtual tour option is available on the official website, so, if any student wants to see the library, lab or classes then they can refer the same.
