Many students don’t have this privilege: Antara, GBPUAT
These are first-hand student accounts on how our young population is managing to keep their exam prep or college course work going from the confines of their homes. In case you want to share your lockdown study experience, write to us at publish@shiksha.com.
Possibly, it should rank if not the worst then one of the worst tragedies to hit mankind. Nobody worth it's salt could have imagined in his wildest of dreams that a pandemic of such a magnitude would hit them where it hurts the most.
When we look in retrospect we can hardly put our fingers on some of the incidents like the world wars, the plague scare to name a few. But behold this is something bizarre and quiet unthinkable, to say the least. A simple virus has mauled the mightiest of the nations like USA, Italy, etc. and has come knocking on our shores. Our country grappling with it so to do our renowned University. In fact, we were very apprehensive when we heard that our University is closing for this scare and we came back to our homes with a backpack but our university did not let it affect our studies one bit.
Our university has started Google classroom program with our professors putting in extra efforts and giving assignments and study material on a daily basis to ease the problem. This online teaching keeps the students alert and updated. As a result, students are busy in their homes and preparing well for examinations.
We are having three projects and four assignments that we submitted on time and more assignments will be updated to us. In fact, the university is doing it's every bit so that we do not lag behind and keep ourselves abreast of the studies. Not many students have this privilege. In fact, we are looking up for the day when the campus is again abuzz and brimming with all kinds of activities. In fact, I firmly believe in this concept that when the going gets tough, it is the toughs who get going. We shall prevail God willing. We shall win as students, as countrymen and as humans corona or no corona. In fact, these are hard times and we will prove our mettle.

The best books for GBPUAT are NCERT books of Class 11 and 12. Most questions come from NCERT. For Physics and Chemistry, books like HC Verma and OP Tandon can help.
For Biology, NCERT Biology is very important. Students should also solve previous years' question papers.

Scoring above the GBPUAT cutoff is important. Students with good ranks get admission easily. Agriculture, Veterinary, and Engineering courses are competitive. Rank is more important than marks; a better rank means a better college and course.
