JEE Mains will be held in less than a month’s time now. Scheduled for January 6-9, aspirants planning to appear for the exam must be looking for best practices to prepare for the exam. Here I share some easy tips that will help you prepare well for the exam:

  • During JEE preparation, it is advised to revise prepared short notes at least thrice. See the important questions and set a strategy. One can also focus on well-scoring topics and revise them well. Further, after proper planning, one can excel in the exam. Keep yourself motivated throughout the period with high energy and enthusiasm. Also, health issues should be properly managed.
  • Time management has always been a major issue. Students are advised to manage time. They can cut down the time requirement of various other non-necessary things and put efforts to indulge revision activities. It is advisable to be more productive. You can also take help of watch during preparation. Try to solve more questions and on the given time schedule it will help you to excel in the exam. Also, it is advised to make a sequence of questions like you have to solve in the exam.
  • The JEE preparation is tough along with Class 12th So, it is advisable to make efforts and select those topics which provide good and efficient numbers in JEE as well as in class 12th exams. You can score better in your exam if you have a good conceptual approach. The main thing in the preparation is to select those areas and topics that are highly demanding for the exam.
  • The various topics such as coordination chemistry, chemical bonding, and physical chemistry are important in Chemistry and covers a larger portion. In mathematics, it is advisable to be productive in coordinate geometry. In Physics, revise concepts of various topics based on electricity and mechanics. One can also score better in his areas of interest. Therefore, the focus is given in that area too. Apart from this, keep making efforts to do better in the areas in which you excel.
  • The revision should include those topics first which would shell out maximum marks. It is also advisable to put efforts in making short notes. Study hours should include eight hours in a day. Students can take short breaks during this period. One can also include a water bottle to take a sip of it at times (nearly in an interval of 15 minutes). During the eleventh hour, you can increase the period of study to up to 12 hours.
