You must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for admission in BTech. A minimum of 45% marks is required for Open Category and 40% for reserved categories. Admission is based on TNEA cut-off score calculated out of 200. The cut-off includes 100 marks for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry combined.

The HBTU CSE cutoff 2026 was 29241 for the General AI category in the third round. The HBTU JEE Main cutoff 2026 was released for the 3rd round for admission to the BTech CSE and other courses. Candidates seeking admission to IGDTUW BTech course must appear for JEE Main exam. IGDTUW accepts JEE Main scores as the qualifying cutoff for admission through JAC Delhi Counselling. JAC Delhi Counselling is a round wise seat allotment process for admission to five participating colleges including IGDTUW. Jamia Hamdard has not released the accepted JEE Main cutoff for BTech admission. However, aspirants need to fulfil the eligibiltiy and selection requirements for admission to BTech course. Jamia Hamdard accepts JEE Main for BTech admission. Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one of the following: Computer Science, Chemistry, Electronics from CBSE or any other Board with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in aggregate to apply for BTech course.
