Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

The students who get selected for admission need to pay the first semester or admission fee. Jamia Milia Islamia BTech CSE (DS) tuition fee is INR 6.12 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

The selection process for the BTech course at NIT Delhi depends on the scores achieved by applicants in JEE Mains scores followed by JoSAA counselling. Initially, the minimum eligibility criteria required by the institute is candidate' must qualify for their Class 12 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 75%. The institute does not specify the minimum score required to get admission to UG engineering courses, the required score can vary each year depending on competition, seat availability, and the category of the candidate. For Computer Science and Engineering, the last year's i.e., 2024 JEE Mains ranks on which the admission closed was 8018. If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.

Lateral entry BTech admissions at GGSIPU are done on the basis of merit in IPU CET.

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.

In 2025, the highest package given to BTech students from School of Computer Science and School of Advance Engineering was 52 LPA and 27.6 LPA. The top 10% average package recorded was 42 LPA and 17.19 LPA.
