To be eligible for GGSIPU BTech (lateral) admissions, candidates need to clear the BSc course with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Candidates must clear a BSc course with Mathematics as a mandatory subject as well to apply for BTech (lateral) at GGSIPU.

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. BTech is one of the popular courses of UPES - Experience Centre. As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020. Apart from the Engineering course, UPES - Experience Centre was also the part of NIRF Ranking under 'University' category.
