The JEE Main eligibility criteria of minimum 75% marks in class 12 is required at the time of admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates must note that there in no minimum requirement of 75% marks in class for appearing in JEE Mains. Candidates can apply and appear in JEE Mains 2024 irrespective of their class 12 marks. Last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Design was 981, which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to IIIT Delhi.

The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

During the IGDTUW Round 1 cutoff 2026, the maximum cutoff rank required for admission was 29113 for the Female category in the General AI quota.
