Candidates who apply for BTech at GNDU, Amritsar must appear in JEE Mains to qualify for admissions. However, for BTech in Food Technology, Textile Processing Technology and Computer Engineering, GNDU, Amritsar conducts its own joint entrance exam to select candidates.

Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech.
