Pros and Cons of IEM Kolkata.
Placements: 100% placement in B.Tech in Information Technology. The highest package offered last year was 23 LPA by Juspay, and the average package is 5.87 LPA. Top recruiters include Juspay, Oracle, Adobe, TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, and more. The roles offered are mostly for Software Engineer or Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the classrooms is good, although the sports courts are quite small. Facilities are up to mark, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. The library is open 24/7 for students. The food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are available, but limited to first aid. Sports and games competitions occur every week.
Faculty: The faculty is very cooperative and highly educated. The teaching quality is good, and this course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, but students who are regular in class find them moderate and score well. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest and fascination with learning in this field. The best thing about this course is that we are always connected to new technology, whether on the development or testing side. Events and fests are held regularly, and scholarships are provided to those in need.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Management.
Placements: All students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 75 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Oracle, Accenture, IBM, etc. Almost 2-3 students got internships in this college. Top roles offered are software developer, business consultant, project executive head, etc.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are good. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Every class has a speaker and a projector. Sports are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are also very helpful and well-qualified. They make students understand very well. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: Extracurricular activities like chess, football, and cricket are conducted. Cultural programs, food fests, and tech fests are also held in this college.

Full and Complete Review of Institute of Engineering and Management by Arya.
Placements: IM is a great college known for its placements and academic curriculum. Approximately 70 to 80% of students get placed every year with good placements. The highest ever offered by our college was 87 LPA and the lowest was approximately 3 LPA. The average package offered is between 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are ITC, Oracle, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Institute of Engineering and Management is very poor, as it is located in Sector 5, which is a corporate area, so free space for building a proper college campus is not available. We have 2 to 3 buildings for the courses and some attached small grounds for basketball, volleyball, and other small outdoor games that require less space. The hostel facilities are also not great, as it is not on the campus. It is in separate buildings a little farther away from the college, and the food in the hostel is not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty is great. The curriculum of the college is the best that we can find in West Bengal near Calcutta. Our college mainly focuses on academics, and extracurricular activities are very limited. In a semester, we have three examinations: midterm, midterm 2, and some other exams. Some exams are very lengthy, taking 40 to 45 minutes, including nearly 20 papers in total.

Campus life is quite average here, and discipline is given utmost importance here.
Placements: As far as internships are concerned, the placement cell is proactive, and the students are also getting internship opportunities in TCS, Vodafone, Siemens, Bose Institute, and IIT, etc. The highest salary package offered here is 40 LPA. Our college provides different courses like GATE etc. All the students got placed from our college. Some students also got placed in Amazon at a high post. Moreover, some students got placed in different companies with different good posts. I really like our college placements.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure, big and spacious classrooms, a big library with enough seating capacity and very good books from different writers
All the facilities provided by our college are good. Our college conducts different tournaments like a football tournament, etc. Our college provides good quality food in the mess and canteen. It also provides good medical facilities and is also active in sports and games.
Faculty: IEM strictly follows MAKAUT curriculum but other than that various other activities are regularly organised to make students well-equipped with the recent technologies and changes. Teachers here are always helpful to students. In semester exams, hard questions are asked. Academically average students got a good SGPA in semester exams. I also got a good SGPA. The course relevance is good in our college, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: The main plus point is the college environment and infrastructure for the outside industry environment. The college organises both cultural and technical fests which are vibrant, and students participate in these events in large numbers.

Overall college is good for placement also the lab work is not so good.
Placements: I am studying in the department of information technology and in the campus recruitment, approximately 70% student are placed in different companies like Oracle, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. Several students are qualified in GATE exam and several students are qualified for CAT or any other exam.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure not so bad but also demands improvement. The hostel food quality is sometimes bad or sometimes good. Sports facilities should be improved and add more games in semester curriculum. Classrooms need improvements day by day.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. But for all subjects, we need a quality teacher. This course is good for a job but don't know proper industry-level quality education. Semester exams are not so difficult, they are moderate, and good question levels are there.
Other: Improve the quality of teachers and improve the college infrastructure, lab instruments, and setup.
