What is Chandigarh University Scholarship?

The CUCET BTech scholarship is a financial assistance programme offered in form of tuition fee waiver (upto 100%) to students based on performance in the entrance test. To obtain Chandigarh University scholarship, it is compulsory to register. Enrollment for the scholarship aid is available in phases with a specific timeline.

Q:   What is the total score in CUCET?

According to official pattern, the total score in CUCET is 100 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in CUCET.

Q:   Are other examination marks accepted for CUCET 2026?
A: 

No other examination marks will be accepted for CUCET admissions. Candidates have to attempt CUCET 2026 exam and qualify it to be eligible for admission. Only those with qualifying marks can register for admission.

Q:   How can I choose my exam date and slot for CUCET?
A: 

CUCET is conducted as an online remote proctored examination, so candidates can choose their exam date and slot. While filling application form, candidates will have to select their choice of CUCET date and time.

Q:   When will CUCET 2026 exam be held?
A: 

CUCET 2026 Phase 1 exam has started. The authorities are conducting CUCET 2026 as an online, remote-proctored test until May 31, 2026. All registered candidates will have to register and attempt the examination to be qualified for admission into the courses offered by the institute. CUCET 2026 Phase 2 dates will be announced soon.

The financial assistance is offered based on performance in the entrance exam that is held in remote-proctored mode. Overall, the percentage is divided into percentages, with Phase I offering higher rewards compared to phase II.

Q:   Does Chandigarh University offer scholarships to CUCET qualified students?
A: 

Yes. Chandigarh University has allocated INR 170 crore to provide scholarships for the academic year 2026-27. The amount of scholarship will be based on the merit. The authorities will prepare the merit based on the score secured in CUCET (60% weightage) and 12th standard (40% weightage). From 10% upto 100% scholarships will be provided to eligible candidates who have qualified and secured a valid CUCET score.

How to renew the Chandigarh University Scholarship?

To renew the scholarship, candidates have to fill and submit a renewal scholarship application form at the end of each academic year.
